Why is it not November yet?
Don't wish your life away. Instead of wishing it is November, why not wish that they bring forward the release date to today? biggrin

That's old news.

The new news, though, is that it worked. smile

That'll teach me to check the links I post! It was pointed out to me that it worked, so I set to find out a link to post here and that was the first one I found paperbag

I liked reading this. Made me lol and nod in appreciation of the emotion behind the statement. :-)

Based on how much I loved Skyrim, I reckon Elder Scrolls 6, if it ever happens will have similar anticipation for me :-).

Fall Out 3 was brilliant, so I'm all aboard the hype train on this.

Made my wife watch the new trailer and demo and tried to explain it all.. ah well!

I'm hyped as heck for this, but TES:6 will blow me away.

Exactly the same as me.

Fallout 4 and Skyrim II will be awesome.... Got one on pre-order, just waiting for the other one so I can pre-order.....

7 years from Fallout 3 to Fallout 4, so on that basis expect TESVI in 2018.

So, in an interview with Todd, he stated that this will not have an online feature to it.

Im ok with this.

I am gonna go and buy FO3, having never played it before, this will give me an idea if im going to like FO4, and will tide me over to a price drop after release.

I'd say if you can get the earlier versions start with them, having played Fallout and Elder Scrolls/Oblivion since the beginning each has its own unique structure.

That is good news. Fallout is all about being on your own in the world and making your mark on it whether that be good or evil.

I agree, I hate even having any of the in-game AI as quest colleagues in these games. So in FO4 I will try and leave the dog somewhere as soon as possible smile

I'm all for keeping it offline too. I can see the appeal for an MMORPG type of game where you can build settlements with other players, develop, scavenge, etc, but since there are so many weapons in the game it would just turn into COD, and there's no need for that.

That's what I did with Dogmeat. I rescued him from the raiders at the junk yard, then let him live in my lovely house in Megaton hehe

My house was such a mess: all that organised storage and I just dumped everything on the floor. laugh

Just as an aside, but NPC companion kills have always counted towards your own XP. Certainly in Fo3 and Fo:NV anyway.

I envy you with fallout 3 in front of you. Uncharted.
May the wasteland gods be kind.
