And callmedave - you don't do farming. Ammo etc is scarce at the start - you need to find the shops to buy it - Megaton, Underworld and the Ship. Also your weapons are poor. You run a lot..... Until you build up experience and skills etc Also scavenge everywhere, collect as much as you can and sell....

And FFS remember there is a fast travel option on the map.. Not something I realised until I'd been playing about 30 hours, wombling over the wasteland like a prune.........So you can travel between the locations with shops.... Then explore slowly out from those. Also, if you want a spoiler about megaton and the shop keeper say so - it can gain experience etc...

It's not a shocker that they sold out again so fast though it, bearing in mind the stampede it caused last time.
And is it just the cynic in me who thinks, they are going to do this a few more times before the release date just to help ramp up the hype

oooh I just found 20 mins of Gameplay on a certain video website from E3. Building gun turrets to protect the house and silenced plasma sniper rifles look awesome, along with keeping the "old" creatures like Ghouls and Deathclaws which is great. Very looking forward to this now... Not that I haven't been for years now...
