Well that has bksed that, trying to do the last Automatron mission, half way through my robot has literally disappeared into thin air, so I can't open the remaining doors. Tried previous saves but it only list 4 before he disappeared then the next is January!
Guess I won't be finishing that mission and getting a half track robot

I haven't actually messed about with the cages for creatures yet.
Anyone built a particularly impressive arena for them to fight in?
I have built one across the piers at Egret Tours Marina. But after seeing this one I might try again - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aWFxINvw_E it seems line of sight, or sound is important.Anyone built a particularly impressive arena for them to fight in?
This is mine.
6 Ghoul cages on the right, 7 Raider cages on the left linked by 2 powered doors into the arena. Not yet tested yet so I have no idea if it will work.

That guy cracks me up.Going to do an arena at the drive in too, but want to build a whole mega-city there.
In the meantime, my latest build is Kingsport Lighthouse
Ok set up the Arena yesterday, I have cages setup to form an area that captured, Raiders and Ghouls can't escape from when the cages are open. I thought perhaps that would also mean there is no way they can be captured. Seems I was wrong and my build might work.
This is the overall view, 3 switches, left switch turns off power and opens the Raiders cages, right switch turns off power and opens Ghouls cage, centre switch opens the doors into the Arena.
Raider cages are still empty but I appear to have 2 filled Ghoul cages (doors closed, Ghoul written on the door), so they can be captured in an area where they can not escape/enter.
That's after 1 in-game day, so I'll leave it a little while longer
Ps. Ladders are there purely for me to observe if the cages are filled.

Had my power armour stolen yesterday. I'm bloody irate.
This is my new playthrough, and I've run PA since the beginning (as without it I die as soon as someone sneezes at me). Its a set of T60 that I've had and modified for hours and hours, bit by bit. I was up to 'E' on all parts, and Prism Armour. Forgot to take out the Fusion Core. But it was in Red Rocket which is my home base and is defended to the hilt with not only turrets but every friendly NPC I've met and had follow me. Stolen by a raider my arse; raiders (and anything else) don't get within 50 feet of the garage with it in.
It doesn't show up on the map, which means someone is wearing it. Is there a way to 'go to' it using console commands? I've never used the console.
sooooooooo aaaaaanggggrrryyyyyy

Had to make some modifications to the cage areas, fencing them in. I let the ghouls out last night to see what I had and after going away and coming back to the arena they were both out in the settlement, walking around. The emitter made them harmless and the settlers didn't attack them but I couldn't do anything with them. So I disabled them (got rid of them) in the console and started again.
I have 4 very noisy raiders (they bang the walls of the cages a lot) trapped now and just need some more ghouls to go with them.
And a couple of bridges over the areas so I can check the status of the cages.
It could be so much more fun if there was a animal/human generator instead of waiting for cages to be filled. There was more than one fighting arena mod for Skyrim where you could select who was going to fight and how many appears (and traps) using switches.
Guess I'll have to wait another day.
Added - its the NPC warp factor with the Ghouls same thing that makes settlers appear in roofs. The Arena really should have a perimeter that they can't cross. And that settlers outside the perimeter don't draw their weapons and run about. Anything goes within.

Papercup, have you not got a previous save?
I reckon a settler is wearing it, ring the bell and see if he turns up in it.
Save: Nope. I only do a 'hard save' at the end of each playing session, so I'd have to go back to the beginning of that session; two and a half hours. That's the thing with FO4; I didn't even mean to leave it that long, I just got into something else....I reckon a settler is wearing it, ring the bell and see if he turns up in it.
Bell: never seen one before, so I built one. No power armour. Its Red Rocket anyway; there's not many places to hide.
I then thought that maybe a Provisioner had walked off in it, so I've been tracing the provisioning routes. Still nothing. Really annoying as I'd done The Mechanist recently and had the Tesla T60 stuff. I assume that's one of a kind....?
Its made me put my entire gameplay plan on hold and try and find more, which I've done, and I'm almost back to where I was; modded-out T60. But I just found an X-01 set. Well, Torso and one arm and one leg. So I've decided to try and find the rest of the X-01 somewhere. Never had a set before.
Well what a load of rubbish the arena building is.
Ok I had raiders captured, I had ghouls captured I thought they would fight each other when I released them. No. As soon as I opened the cages they started firing at me and my settlers and my settlers fired back, my turrets fired at them the raiders never saw the ghouls yet they were all wiped out before they even entered the arena area.
I really don't see the point of it, in videos I don't want to sacrifice settlers fighting each other either.

I heard that if you use a companion instead of a settler, they will respawn Ok I had raiders captured, I had ghouls captured I thought they would fight each other when I released them.
