I'd like to see a mod that, in occupied settlements, clears up dead bodies after a few game days. I can't believe my settlers just go about their business for days or weeks with dead bodies just lying around.

This should apply to recently deceased bodies, and also skeletons from the war.

All dead bodies are cleared with this mod that I have installed - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11306/? - but using it you can also make settlers essential and they can't be killed anyway.

Spring Cleaning - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4640/? - gives you the option to scrap everything else including skeletons I think.

Ps. Make sure it is one of or even last plugin to load and careful with it because you really can scrap everything, including floors, roof and walls of houses you might not want to if you select the wrong thing. Good for cleaning floors or debris though.

Anyone doing the Vault Tec DLC, the quests are actually pretty fun. I'm going to give the building a go as well but it's quite overwhelming to start off with as the cave system you're in is massive.

Yeah, surprised no one had posted up about this. Only played last night, so think i have just opened up the cave sections and interviewed the 3 "applicants".
Does it becomes a settlement that you can assign trading routes to?

I confess I am so done with Fo4 right now I can't even be bothered to install and try this DLC, despite having the Season Pass. frown

I also think that this and the robots DLCs fundamentally break the whole post-apocalyptic survivalist vibe. If technology is at the level to build stuff like this when why isn't civilisation rebuilt? Why all the mess and bodies? If vertibirds flying around, then why aren't cars going up and down repaired roads, etc. etc.?

Because there isn't a unified government. Just self interest and people scrabbling for what they can get.

It's not like people actually built any of the things either. It's all just scavenged from the dead world.

You might as well ask why Immortan Joe didn't have tarmaccing lorrys and road rollers out in Mad Max laugh

No idea, I've never done settlement building before as it didn't appeal to me. I like the idea of having my own vault though.

Yes, simply go to another settlement and assign a settler to trade with the Vault.

Doing that I also realised I could do the same for Far Harbor... boxedin

I got the VT DLC last week and started the Vault 88 quests. havent built anything yet, just srapped a load of stuff in the main hall/cave and cleared out a few of the other caves. Im really surprised how massive this place is. I may make this my main base (currently Castle)

Hope to play a little more tonight, will post up my progress if i feel its worthy.

There are some pretty hefty monsters down there, I got a couple of nice legendary weapons out of it.

Yes, even a Deathclaw!

Make sure to look about for scrap-able limestone walls!

Finally got to the end of this last night by destroying the institute.

Great depth and you certainly get a fair chunk of game for your pennies.

Looking forward to starting the DLC cool

how do I complete the first fetch quest for the overseer? I'm in hallocyogen corp, a few metres from the target market but can't for the life of me figure out where to go. VANS just sends me round in circles

Just did that about 20 mins ago - you actually end up going UP, then find a route back down the other side of the building. You'll find it eventually.

If you've not been through Halucigen before, it's worth clearing the gunners out. Plenty of xp and decent loot. If you have, just go through the door you exited from in the basement as that's where it is.

The hippy trader guy in diamond city asks you to go there to collect stuff for him.
