Not much, quite a few issues with room and starts. Abandoned the gt3 race and just run the gt86.

Sorry if I had a pop at anyone not in the best of moods!

Onwards and upwards.

Seems Bathurst isn't the easiest place to race! Hope they sort out the weirdness we are having with the pitstops and stuff, it's very odd.

Had a bit if a re-think this morning.

My plan now is to revert to a short run mini/mx5 champ but with different cars.

So this is it: (plan to start this Sunday)

lotus elise 96 race car (you win this) on sports hard - no other tyres can be used.

Clio rs 11 - on comfort soft only - which we all have.

Week 1 - silverstone gp - quali in lotus
Week 2 - apricot - quali in Clio (then back to lotus for wk 3)
Week 3 - Matterhorn (long one)
Week 4 - brands hatch Indy
Week 5 - willow springs
Week 6 - ascari

60 miles each race, 10 min quali, reverse 2nd grid.

Tyre/fuel high - NO compulsory pit stop. Full damage. Usual beatings and abuse for driving like miss daisy.

Only 1 drop score over the 6 weeks.

Let's see how that works and it gives pd time to sort out some of the online bugs.

Sounds good, haven't won the Elise yet though. Will work on it.

It might have been me who was damaging people's rear ends last night, apologies, couldn't stop myself frown

Reading online there's a suggestion of the fat PS3s suffering from freezing during online play.

Does everyone who had to reboot last night have a fat PS3?

Things went pear shaped in the SLS as soon as we entered in to the confines of the uphill section and culminated with alsorts of issues right at the top which led to the track almost being blocked!

The random issues with pitstops appear to be common judged on a brief read of some of the forums.

There was something odd there. We three, plus Dice behind, all went through the chase together and, I think, braked in the right place but all ended up going off, which would suggest we hadn't...... My PS3 locked up on the next lap so I wasn't able to watch the replay. Sorry if I messed your race up.

I don't no think they need to sort this game out sooner rather than later before people get peed off with it. have had a few glitches myself slipstreaming people then glitch and you are now wearing the person you were closing on.

then dice only had choice of comforts on his gt3 car. lol

get the iron out playstation you got work to do lol

Online issues are widespread it would seem. The worst I've read today is someone loosing their cars having been online. Not sure if freezing was involved but not great.

Mind you gt5 had similar issues at the start with corrupt game saves.

They need to update soon though I've only got half of IA and half of S Class to go.

There must be a big update soon as pre 1.01 had quick match and community sections although not accessible but removed after patch.

I quite like the pitstop as it means one shunt doesn't destroy your race. Mind, I'd guess 60 miles would necessitate fuel anyway.
