is GT6 worth buying then?

is it all online now and have I missed the boat?

If you're interested in online racing then GT6 is worth buying. It has faults, but the racing is still great and, well, there's no direct competition on the PS3. GT5 servers will be turned off soon.

If you are interested in just driving lots and lots of interesting cars around offline, then yeah, it is also pretty good with a nice selection of cars and with some decent variances in the handling.

If you are interested in offline career mode, it sucks.

It isn't all online, but that's where the challenge/fun/interest is for most people. There's 2 (soon to be 3) popular championships running each week, and you can join any of them.

I race in the Sunday champ and have just started uploading videos from our races, watching one will give you a decent idea of what its like. You haven't missed the boat, most people were still playing GT5 after about 2 years, so GT6 should be popular for a while yet.
