Assetto Corsa - Time Trial
Discussion
Name a track, name a car - I'll compile the results and we'll have a weekly Time Trial starting in 2 days with the most nominated track and most nominated car.
Results will be confirmed via RSR Live Timing so you'll need to set it up and I'll start a table with in-game character/PH name etc...
All players need to use 'Pro' Settings.
We need at least 5 players to make this work I reckon.
Whoever wins the first combo gets to nominate the next one, and so on.
So there's no bias from me, I'll name first.
Track - Mugello
Car - Ferrari Evo XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX something.

RSR live timing? How'd you get that then?
http://www.radiators-champ.com/index.php?option=co...This one got me sweating! Anything under 1:47 is quite an effort for me! I got there in the end though:
Strangely my RSR app froze and refused to recognise any of my best laps after I set a 1:46.2. I rebooted, got back into the 45s and it still wouldn't show anything below my old PB, so I gave up. Here's a screenshot:
(image removed to make space on the thread)
I also saved a replay of a couple of 45s, including my PB, and AC is listing all my lap times correctly.
Unless they're cheating, I don't know how people are getting in the 42s; I can't even imagine where that time is to be found.

I've rebooted again and RSR Timing again worked for a few laps, then stopped as soon as I got below 1:45 (which is just odd), but I've found a bit of time by using the slight drainage ditch indent on the inside of a lot of the kerbing. As usual, I can provide a replay if necessary and here are the screenshots:
Setup is the default, but with the wild rear toe angle reduced to 20 each side and the ARBs down a few notches to soften the roll a bit and also make the car a bit more pointy (IIRC the front was at minimum and the rear one or two notches above).

I can't get to grips with this. I'm using the stock setup as I know nothing about doing car setups - and the best I can muster is 1.45.648. Currently 90th, but I bet that'll change really soon.
I can probably get that down with a few more laps as it was really scrappy. I've probably done 10 in total?
