Don't forget to crank up the boost, by default 1m s3 runs with 80% (10% more then stock 1m) you can increase that by 90% or 100% with 1-0 keys

This works for those cars that are 'mapped' 1m ''s3', evora s 's2', z4 e85 'd1'

It's like that thing (boost controller) tuners use in their cars to crank up the boost

from 0.6.6 changelog

"- New overboost function (keys 1-0 for 10% to 100% turbo boost. 80% default)
- Engine damage when turbo overboost is over 80% on cars that support it"

Me too! I've done all my laps on standard boost! I'm away this weekend though so no time to have another go. I thought Kars' car looked a but quick on You Tube compared with mine!

You can only do one lap before it blows, so I was doing 1 lap to warm the tyres then one qualifying lap with more boost. Thing is after doing some faster laps with boost I still end up doing a 1st lap default flier of a 1m51.6 only .5 off what I did with boost. That was late last night so I'll have another go today,

Anyone got an idea why my laps aren't classified as Pro "P" on RSR? They are, had the same issue with the Lotus at Magione. I wonder if you set the car and circuit, then change settings from Pro to custom (just to check) then back to Pro it doesn't register as Pro on RSR?

I'll change car and track, then back to the 1M to see, but I see quite a few people on RSR with pro settings not tagged as P.

Thanks for that, didn't even notice or forgot I had changed it.

Tweaked my back earlier and I never sit upright when driving so it's no more from me this weekend.

hehe yes! I must be honest when I saw your You Tube lap I thought you were cheating. Your car was visibly faster in a straight line; quite noticeably so! The boost explains everything - the earlier braking points, the different acceleration etc. I'm back from my weekend away now and I've just had a quick go and it's a totally different car with the extra power; I need different lines at each bend, different braking points etc. I did just go a bit quicker, but I'd need practise to get my eye in again and get used to the different braking points etc:

Yah! Im participating!

I am starting to feel like im getting this, using some suggested wheel settings really helped. Hopefully as I get to grips il start to be a little more competitive, it didnt take to long to get here after i set up the wheel-10 or so laps (hadnt changed the wheel settings from Forza 4).

How many are using full manual gearbox, clutch and no autoblip in these trials? Flappy paddles are much easier and slighly quicker too, but in a car like the F40 much less fun though.

I always use full manual h pattern shift with three pedals and no autoblip. I've tried paddles, but find that a manual gearbox and clutch gives me more control; the paddles are too harsh for my liking, they upset the car's attitude too much for me. I also enjoy doing more smile All my real life racing cars have been manual boxes for that reason.

Same here, no assists, love the manual, going through the gears and heel toeing (btw this was one of the reasons why I bought g27, to practise h&t)
For better immersion I even have different shifter pattern for dogleg cars (f40, e30)
