Just picked this up, really liking it so far. Still haven't got any settings that feel 'right' (like iRacing does to me) for my Logitech DFP, wheel has almost no weight about 20 degrees either side of centre, and between there and the limits of my 420 degrees of rotation lockstops it's anyone's guess what the front wheels are doing. Anyone got any tips for a decent feel through the wheel?

Same wheel here, same initial problems. Give me a bit and I'll post up what I have and am now happy with. smile

Ok, Windows settings.

Assetto Corsa controller settings.

steering 540 degrees

Under advanced
Gain 85%
Filter 10%
Damping 20%

Kerb 30%
Road 10%
Slip 10%

Steering
Gamma 1
Filter 0
Speed Sensitivity 0

Brake gamma - 2.40

You can probably play with the Kerb, road effects but I find the above works for me. If you can make it any better let me know smile

PS- always push down on throttle and brake pedals in the controls section everytime you start the game. So that they are in their correct start position.

Excellent thanks very much for that! I'll have a quick play and see what it's like!

ETA: Better than what I had before, still not sure whether i'm quick/consistent enough to have a go at the time trial yet! Love the way in this game if the car gets out of shape you can ride it out on the throttle, where as most of the cars I raced in iRacing you had to lift to get the thing to come back!

Has anyone tried the drag races in the special events? It drops the cars onto the track from about 12ft in the air when you start, and you end up bouncing all over the place and pointing in the wrong direction. Is that just me?

Incidentally, I bought a G27 wheel t'other day. It's a bit good, shame I'm awful at driving with it biggrin

Friday's update - http://www.virtualr.net/assetto-corsa-ferrari-312t...

Haven't driven AC in weeks bad back and then busy but this I think will guarantee some reserved time.

Here's a comparison of the 312T in AC, Forza5 and F1 2013, Forza sounds rubbish like a food blender, F1 2013 just appears to be a standard V8 F1 sound.

and here's roughly what a 312T should sound like (this I'd a T4):
