Well after I realised I wasn't getting full throttle because my pedal was hitting the table support I started enjoying the combo a little more.
Got more time to save. I don't a better timed lap but RSR deemed it illegal for whatever reason.

RSR's a bit funny like that. If you look at the app's log file then you can see (with the aid of Google translator!) that it deems a lot of stuff 'off track'. I had plenty of invalid laps in the 599XX the other day when I tried it, whereas today I was hot lapping in the Lotus '49 at Mugello and was putting wheels on the grass etc and it didn't bat an eyelid.PH Name | RSR Name | Time | Sector 1 | Sector 2 | Sector 3 |

Yeah it's odd but it doesn't matter too much as it was 1/2 second quicker.
I've just noticed that my time was set with the air temp at 19 and the track at 23. I wonder how much the temperature will affect hotlap times?
I was having a look at that last night, apparently optimum tyre temp is 80-110 for the FXX soft slicks. I was well over that when using a higher air temperature. Is there an app for tyre temps? I was surprised there wasn't one included with the release. Here you go - http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?thread...

Do any of you use the Fanatec CSR wheel and does it work well?
What kind of specs do you think are needed to really run AC well?
I have not built a PC before but it seems fairly straight forward (I have upgraded old PCs), currently looking at around £800. Any opinions on this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2xH6k ?

I bought a second hand CSR before christmas with the sequential and H gate shifters and love it. Pedals are adjustable (spring rate and position) and plenty of options on the wheel so you can set it the way you like it.Do any of you use the Fanatec CSR wheel and does it work well?

The fanaleds application (free) is very good too which shows your speed and gear selection on the little screen on the CSR wheel.

Hit the leaderboard as well (top 50).
Chuffed to bits - worked hard for that!
Saved the replay if anyone wants to see it?

I duuno Rob, I really dont.
The guy with 20+ No:1s - He could be a Sim wunderkinder, he could be a cheating bd.
The way I look at it, is I'm competeing with my virtual mates in our real bedrooms/studys/mancaves/lounges etc.. thats all that counts. That's what I'll work within - guys I know, because PH sorts of filters that crap out. - You've raced, I've raced, I'm sure some of the other guys have as well, if they haven't they're avid drivers of some lovely cars...
I think that we'll have a stonking race series if we can sort out the timings.

I've still got all the PH GPL League (2004-2005) results, GTR (2005 season), GTL (2006) and rFactor multiple series 2007-2011 race results here and looking through the only names I recognise from back then on here at the moment is Altrezia who raced rFactor with the Australian Supercars in 2008, Touring Car Legends in 2009/2011 & TVR Challenge in 2010 and RobM who did some Porsche Supercup races in 2009. So in terms of getting numbers racing if they have AC we could get some strong grids.I think that we'll have a stonking race series if we can sort out the timings.
(apologies if I missed anyone else but we had multiple race series in each year)
And I have spotted another PH rFactor racer's name on the AC hotlaps board who hasn't yet said hi on here yet.
