Assetto Corsa - Time Trial

Got 10 or so laps in and I managed to improve my time a little thanks to the tyre app that was mentioned.

Still got time to make up as I ran out of fuel around 40m - 50m before the finish line. Going to start having a little play with the setup next as well and see if I can start making some time up that way.

I've still got all the PH GPL League (2004-2005) results, GTR (2005 season), GTL (2006) and rFactor multiple series 2007-2011 race results here and looking through the only names I recognise from back then on here at the moment is Altrezia who raced rFactor with the Australian Supercars in 2008, Touring Car Legends in 2009/2011 & TVR Challenge in 2010 and RobM who did some Porsche Supercup races in 2009. So in terms of getting numbers racing if they have AC we could get some strong grids.

No problem - I did the RacePro timetrials, and Forza same, back in the day.

This is really my first venture back into PC racing since "F1 Challenge 99-02" and all the mods for a few years after.

nVidia users - Whatever you do do not install the latest nvidia drivers with the GeForce Experience, crap update. Doesn't detect your games if they aren't on a very limited list it uses it didn't detect Assetto Corsa, Cliffs of Dover, Napoleon Total War (Bizarrely recognised Rome though) and you can't add them manually either unlike previous versions.

It even comes with an Assetto Corsa profile for SLi users, but doesn't find the bloody game!!!!

Reverted back to previous drivers. If you need to revert, uninstall nVidia Experience in control panel, then go to Device Manager and your card and click on the Roll Back to previous button to recover.

Then wait until they sort this rubbish out properly.

I've just had another go and knocked quite a bit off my time. As I said before, I was new to the track and the car when I first had a go, but this week I've been driving the track in a few other cars (49, Evora and M3) so got to know it better. Following that I thought I'd get home from work and have another crack in the 599

Looks like I'm behind in the middle sector! I know exactly where it is, because I've been up by a few tenths there on a few laps but then lost it again on the last sector.

Thanks for the reply, i already have the wheel as bought one for Forza 4. As its not supported on the Xbone I thought I would take the plunge into PC sim racing, similar cost as a new xbox and wheel but with a little more versatility.
