Name a track, name a car - I'll compile the results and we'll have a weekly Time Trial starting in 2 days with the most nominated track and most nominated car.

Results will be confirmed via RSR Live Timing so you'll need to set it up and I'll start a table with in-game character/PH name etc...

All players need to use 'Pro' Settings.

We need at least 5 players to make this work I reckon.

Whoever wins the first combo gets to nominate the next one, and so on.

So there's no bias from me, I'll name first.

Track - Mugello
Car - Ferrari Evo XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX something.

Sounds good, are we going for fixed setup too? I can't remember if TT mode fixes ambient temperatures either.

I know the 599 fairly well but not Mugello - time for some practice...

Nope - you can adjust as you feel fit.

As long as you get a clean lap with RSR proving it's a 'Pro' lap.

I've just done a bit of practice, best is a 1.48.924 so far. I haven't submitted it because I think my fuel usage is set to zero so it's not technically a 'pro' lap. I've only just read the extra regulations.

There's a lot left though and I'm nowhere near onsistent yet. Nice track!

This one got me sweating! Anything under 1:47 is quite an effort for me! I got there in the end though:

Strangely my RSR app froze and refused to recognise any of my best laps after I set a 1:46.2. I rebooted, got back into the 45s and it still wouldn't show anything below my old PB, so I gave up. Here's a screenshot:

(image removed to make space on the thread)

I also saved a replay of a couple of 45s, including my PB, and AC is listing all my lap times correctly.

Unless they're cheating, I don't know how people are getting in the 42s; I can't even imagine where that time is to be found.

Nice! Gives me something to have a go at later this evening.

Agreed with some of the times - silly.

This is my first time driving Mugello and also my first time in the 599, so I expect with practise I could go quicker, but I'd struggle to get into the 1:42s, I'm sure!

I've rebooted again and RSR Timing again worked for a few laps, then stopped as soon as I got below 1:45 (which is just odd), but I've found a bit of time by using the slight drainage ditch indent on the inside of a lot of the kerbing. As usual, I can provide a replay if necessary and here are the screenshots:

Setup is the default, but with the wild rear toe angle reduced to 20 each side and the ARBs down a few notches to soften the roll a bit and also make the car a bit more pointy (IIRC the front was at minimum and the rear one or two notches above).

Thought I'd break my posting hiatus with a lap time or two on AC!

Gonna keep at it and see if I can break the 47's.

Cheers

I can't get to grips with this. I'm using the stock setup as I know nothing about doing car setups - and the best I can muster is 1.45.648. Currently 90th, but I bet that'll change really soon.

I can probably get that down with a few more laps as it was really scrappy. I've probably done 10 in total?
