That's the one. Brutal isn't it?

Made it through in uber but nearly lost a controller in the process hehe
The losing your weapon thing is a bug, the first time you go in you keep your weapons, if you die and respawn the bug removes your weapons, and the enemies in the room are oblivious to your presence until you attack. It's still not a difficult section though. The only tough room in the game, and it's small fry in the grand scheme of things, is the one at the end of the game with the two ubersoldaten and the cover that disappears when their energy weapons shoot it.

odd. I found that one quite easy by comparison with the other.

The circular room nearish to the end. There were two passages either side with covers to be cut by laser. You could just hide in them and pop out to blast the Supersoldaten.

Oh yeah, I hid and just shot them when they came near. Did that first time I think.

The one in the sewer, where you drop out of a vent into the room with them? Yes, that was the toughest part of the game.

That's a different part, but hiding under the walkway at the other side of the room worked for me.

Ok, I'm about to smash this game into shards, hunt down the developers and place said shards up their bottoms.

An hour I've spent trying to take down zeppelins with flak cannons, so I can get to deathshead. every time I get to the second, irrespective of how much health I've got, I get my arse kicked. Is there a trick I'm missing here? I'm so close

Took me a while, no specific trick. I just laid into him with the laser thing then ran like feck.

The next bit is even more frustrating.

it only takes one shot from the canons to take them down

Baryonyx is talking about the same bit as me. That said, arguing about the hardest bit of a game that is piss easy even on the highest difficulty is a bit moot.

Alright, kicking myself for finding that deathshead bit hard, piss easy with the right technique of using a few shots to slow him down as you leg it for the flak cannons. The bit after is way too easy - 3 grenades and dual rocket launchers had him down in <20 seconds.

Now playing the Wyatt timeline on super easy, grabbing he few collectibles missed etc.

Definitely got my $60 worth, hope they do a sequel, and very much looking forward to doom if this is representative of how that'll be updated.

We just got Wolfenstein - The Old Blood, for our new Xbox One.

It was the bargain price of £13 on Amazon prime!

Only got it yesterday, and be playing it for hours, it's fantastic, reminds me so much of my est game ever Half Life 2.

Some sections do seem very hard at first, and you can spend ages wondering around trying to work out where to go next! But you get there in the end.,

It even has ducts to crawl through just like HL2 as well!

All in all £13 well spent!

Good timing - I just picked up copies of New Order and Old Blood a few weeks ago. Completed New Order at the weekend; it took me a few hours to get comfortable with it, but once you're hooked into the game it's a really satisfying experience - proper old school FPS with good mechanics. Only gripe was that I was playing on Uber and the enemies still seemed really easy to defeat, with plenty of ammo and health available. Only time I had to turn it down was the final boss battle as no matter what I did, he killed me within seconds.

Played the first chapter of Old Blood on Monday and seemed really good so far - good balance of stealth and action smile

Got this coming on rental today, probably have it completed by Sunday but really looking forward to it, enjoyed the last one. As people have said it feels like the old FPS's of old which is great.

Indeed, and the Metal Robot Dog can be quite a challenge too!

It's fun to wipe out the big guys with one of there own guns as well,,when you do manage to take them done that is!

I am really enjoying this game!

Only draw back is the lack of ability to do a mid level save,,as you often get wiped out and have to go right back to the start of the level!

Just a quick update to this thred.

After enjoying Wolfentein The Old Blood so much on our Xbox One, I have just had Wolfenstein The New Order delivered.

It was just £19 on Amazon, which seemed good value to me.

One question before I play though, seems lots of you have been playing it on the uber difficulty setting.

I their that on the old blood, but just got wiped out too quickly!

Will the gameplay still be a good experience if I have it on the Middle, difficulty?.

I think old blood was a bit tougher, they made New Order too easy on the lower levels. I normally play everything on 'normal' and walked it in NO up to a point where there was a really daft save point and I just couldn't make it past without a restart or level adjust.

I usually turn down the boss fights as well as I hate boss fights.

On PC you could adjust the level in game, not sure about consoles. Just try it and see if it works for you, I like to play at challenging but not frustrating level.

I played on PS4 on normal and had no real difficulty, there's a few bits which are tough but not spending 3 hours on a small section tough!

I had rented it so it had a nice balance of ease of play & speed.
