The reviews seem fairly good. I have a £30 steam gift voucher so might pick this up later.

I'm about half way through it now and am still finding it pretty good. Visuals are very nice on the PS4 version (I guess PC will be up there too visually on a decent spec machine). I'm playing it on the middle difficulty and it's a bit easy and this from someone who normally shies away from FPS on consoles, preferring instead the mouse / keyboard combo

Damn you. I have hundreds of games I've not played.
(They have Watchdogs at the same price as well).

Ive just finished the first section after the tutorial part. I always go for the hardest difficulty on the first playthrough and this first part hasnt challenged me once. Maybe it gets tougher further in but at the minute theres loads of health, armour and bullets to not have to worry.

Game plays as most other shooters with nothing special yet.

Having blown my broadband usage limit to hell (40GB!!!) I'm being really disciplined and not playing it until I've finished replaying the 2001 game. laugh

I won't buy this simply because I want Fallout 4 first!
biggrin

I desperately want Fo4 too.

But I might give this a go in the meantime.

Does it have 'legs' or once complete, discarded?

It's not bad, but it's not great.
A traditional linear shooter, minor path choices, some sneaky bits some blasting. Story is fine.

It's very easy though, I've had to crank it up to 'uber' to make it in any way challenging. The most common way to die then being outflanked.

About 5 hours in (prison level) I'll stick it out to the end but it's not going to have much replay value.

The spec for a PC is an i7 which I can't believe seeing as the engine is the same as Rage, i.e. a 3 year old game.

I've got an i7-2600K, 32Gb RAM, and an nVidia GTX 770

Crysis 3 ran at 2560x1440 with everything maxed out, so I very much doubt that Wolfenstein will make greater demands on my system than Crysis 3 did.

Saw this earlier. How's the new gameplay vs Version 1?

Steam just says i7. I've an i5-2500k overclocked to 4.2Ghz and 16GB of RAM (requirements say 4GB), so I can't see mine struggling with it.

I'm running it on an i5 3570k @3.4Ghz, 8gb memory and with a HD7990 = no problems whatsoever.
