1:34 but be aware how it will realy go....
Lap 1 = 1:34
Lap 2 = 1:51 (due to spin)
Lap 3 = 1:37 (taking it easy beacuse i spun)
Lap 4 = 1:34 (confident again woo hoo)
Lap 5 = 1:51 (spun as too cocky trying to overtake)
Repeat till end of race and end up 7th or so and then complain a lot, write a long diatribe in PH, feel a bit better, drink some red wine ahhh.

Edit to add "Get beaten in quali by Viper (again)"
I have no idea how you are finding that kind of pace. That's what I was doing in Season 3, with 550PP. And racing softs.

right heres the changes so far i propose,Tracks to go up to 12 each season with 3 car choices still but only 2 mandatory uses per car so for 6 tracks its free choice of what car you use out of your 3 picks. There will still be a 2 season ban on cars used also the gap between seasons will be increased to 2 to give people more time.

You can also only have 1 of each model per season so for example you cant have your cars to be a MK1/MK2/MK3 elise to encourage variety in choices also here's the list of tracks you can vote for next season so would like you's to pick the 12 tracks you want to race on smile

Brands Hatch
Mount Panorama
Silverstone
Willow Springs (only during the day)
Ascari
Daytona (Road Course)
Monza
Motegi
Suzuka
Laguna Seca
Spa
Le Mans
Nurburgring (if nordsheife would be during the day with dry weather)
Apricot Hill
Autumn Ring (Full version)
Trial Mountain
Grand Valley
Tokyo
Rome (forward only)
Road Course Indy
already done smile

It was interesting to hear the animosity to the Cape Ring layout. We've run the configuration in previous seasons with few complaints, but I'll be the dissenting voice and say I like it. It has some brilliant change of direction and some sections are wide enough for good racing.

I must admit, I was never a fan of the Cape Ring circuit used in season 5 for GT5 - it didn't have the flow of yesterday's configuration.

I quite liked the track. Apart from chasing down Col at the end of race 1. The car landed after the jump and immediately flew sideways. Totally, incromprehensibly, like a switch, sideways.

My whole problem with that track is the jump, it's so unpredicable that it makes sensible racing a pain in the arse. I mean what tracks have a jump that big? With damage on the jump should destroy the suspension every lap

I quite liked the track also, it was just my choice of car that crucified me! I could only manage about 98-99mph around the cork screw without understeering, just couldn't sort of a decent set-up to get it to handle well.

Oh blimey that's my fault for not reading it properly, thought we were just voting for tracks we liked. Anyway here is my revised 12:

Brands Hatch
Mount Panorama
Silverstone
Monza
Motegi
Suzuka
Laguna Seca
Spa
Le Mans
Nurburgring (if nordsheife would be during the day with dry weather)
Grand Valley
Tokyo

I had this problem also in the jump on deep forest reverse.

I knew the elise is twitchy so I tried different "jumps" and found the best way was to keep outside then to brake & lift while in the air then it was stable on landing. The track itself is great, nice flow with some tricky cambers and slopes. It was fun coming through the field after my spin, but that elise is so much faster than everything else.
Fastest lap for me too, really pleased with that.

That jump at Cape Ring does make it a tough track. It was a difficult night I think. AJ was quick, Gaz and Carmo were monumentally quick and F1 did an awesome job in the Esprit I thought. It's a fast car but must have been hard work keeping ahead of the Elises. I was a lot happier with the pace of the Evora this time too, nice to not be 1.5 seconds per lap behind the midfield this time. Still can't get my head around it though. Last season everything I drove was quickest and most stable on standard suspension, this race, on an undulating track, I was better off on dropped suspension, and the lower and stiffer I made it, the better it managed the crests and jumps?!? wtf.

Anyway plus side is at least I am making some progress I suppose.
