It was a fun night of racing but that track isn't forgiving at all. Thanks Alfa. I was surprised by my pace in the end. All I changed was the aero and the diff.

I'd have done better in the second race if Colin and I hadn't tangled just before the spiral. Racing accident and I came off worse.

Suzuka full circuit
Monza no chicanes
Nordschleife 24hr layout
Le Mans '09 no chicanes
Apricot Hill reverse
Grand Valley Speedway
Bathurst
Silverstone Grand Prix
Spa
Road Course Indy
Daytona Road at night
Fuji Speedway GT

Coming from the person who bumped me, then turned me sideways on the banked turn? Clean?

Take your own advice. wink

No, don't worry Col, I'll stop here. laugh
hardly, there was a gap and you closed it as i was going through.
No, you were not “going through”. You weren’t even alongside me. I had every right to close the gap - that is part of racing. I ran a middle line, then switched back to a lower line. Now, you were faster on the exit, but that doesn’t mean you simply ram somebody to overtake.

If you don’t like that I cut back to the inside, that is your problem – not mine.

You also rammed me again when braking for one of the downhill turns, now, ordinarily I wouldn’t find that an issue. However, suggesting that I’m not clean is an interesting observation considering the manner in which you drove.

i see why others have raised your aggression on here.
There really is no need for baseless remarks like that.

Colin, if you would prefer me to keep things in private - please say.

Sorry Gaz you are usually a very clean racer and I can't comment for what happened amongst the rest of the race. However, when you both lapped me once again hehe you did in fact tap F1 on the way into one of the downhill turns. Nothing overly serious, I'm sure CJ will sort out the dispute accordingly, and leave any arguments and opinions for private messages with CJ; as he has mentioned before remarks and claims against other drivers are for private messages not on here.

On a brighter note, your pace in that Elise was impressive! But is rather scary knowing you have two more weeks in it!

In terms of circuits, Cape Ring is fantastic for me because it is so unique and a real “drivers track”. Lovely sections like the downhill esses, undulations make it a great challenge.

Some of the international, real circuits leave me a tad cold. Motegi and Monza haven’t got the world’s most inspiring corners, and the long straights make them a bit boring for me. Particularly Motegi, it will always be dull when Suzuka is so brilliant. I’m sure Motegi can be ditched for a better virtual circuit imo, but that is only my opinion.

Brands Hatch, Mount Panaroma, Suzuka, Silverstone, Nordschleife – love those real circuits.

Regarding clean driving, in my view everyone tends to drive very clean and fair in which the amount of incidents are becoming fewer every season that i need to look into.

Ive already looked through the full of race 2 between gaz/f1 this morning and have deemed no penalty needs to be applied as f1's touch on you gaz seemed to be have down to understeer and not a deliberate act as his car was slowly running out for a bit before the touch which ive already stated in the email i sent you. As for the touch on f1 at the end of the spiral it was worse imo than the one on you gaz but luckily enough you both got away without any advantage gained and not too much time was lost but could have been worse if the touch was further back on f1's esprit.

With the spiral its pretty much impossible to overtake on the inside unless the car in front runs very wide which didnt seem to be the case for both of you. If you's want to have a war of words privately thats up to yourselves but i dont like several pages of arguments over an incident that i deem to be finished now after spending time watching the replay.

We are all adults here so think its time we all act like it because at the end of the day the reason why i run this is to have fun as thought i put all this sort of bickering behind me when i left primary school, if not i might need to start handing out punishment exercises or putting people in detention hehe

Motegi is not my favourite track either, it's a bit boring with few interesting corners, most are just 90deg bends to join straights together. However, it did seem to throw up some pretty good battles in season 1. I think it could be one of those tracks that promotes a good, close race.

well sometimes simple tracks are the best ones as they encourage battles

I actually found the battle rather enjoyable. I didn’t really regard the contact as anything major, despite being hit twice at the back. It must be said I never said anything prior to this because it was insignificant – ordinarily I wouldn’t complain about little contact like Cape Ring. I don’t remember the last time I did complain about someone else; things would become rather wearisome and boring if every little connection between cars resulted in enquiries, penalties etc.

However, it is rather different when somebody makes cheap remarks about one's driving, but the person making the insinuation didn’t in fact drive cleanly themselves.

Indeed thats why I picked it in my choices. Good long straights into hard braking zones seem to promote good racing and passing opportunities. Same reason as to why I picked Silverstone national, Brands indy and willow springs as they are all simple enough tracks but promote good racing.

I like tracks that allow passing opportunity but also a challenge.

Suzuka full circuit
Monza no chicanes - with chicanes then OK
Nordschleife 24hr layout definately no, infact I will not even turn up for this.
Le Mans '09 no chicanes - No boring as hell.
Apricot Hill reverse YES
Grand Valley Speedway YES
Bathurst YES - Great track, difficult to overtake but possible.
Silverstone Grand Prix - YES
Spa - YES
Road Course Indy - OK, not my favorite
Daytona Road at night - YES
Fuji Speedway GT - YES

I like that clubman circuit also at night, can't remember the name but has numbers in it.
Willow is also a nice track

We also need more night or rain events.

Lotus. 58 seconds. That's longest time spent without crashing, not a lap time..

Esprit? Time to test some more cars and try to beat Viper's time.

Esprit is being saved for Le Mans. Will be the Evora or the Elise. I can't get either one around the track without crashing yet, which to be fair is not the fault of the cars, I have always had this problem at Laguna.
