I spent the whole night making small mistakes followed by chasing F1. I only took pole position with a scrappy lap by 0.080 seconds and was banging off the rev limiter in 6th for 3 seconds down the straight before I crossed the line.

I then pushed F1 over the line, losing the first race by 0.1 seconds. Chasing him through the pack at the start of race two there was a moment in the straight tunnel where he went left, I went right and we passed a pack about 3 or 4 cars wide which was scary.

I also enjoyed watching the replay of gaz in the first part of race 2 as there were a few good scraps.

It was great fun. I had a few hitches, not least practising on CSR5 instead or SSR5.

Fastest time had been 55 seconds flat, 54 with NOS, so when I turned up and saw F1 with a 1:23 time I thought I'm gonna own this place tonight thumbup . Hop into the car, pull out of the pits. Get to corner 8. I go left but the road goes right. WTF.... oh. This could need some replanning..

I did alright all things considered, I thought. No big shunts and race 2 had a few great battles to keep me awake. The battle near the end with Viper was great fun and as a bonus we had our own little Fast And The Furious tribute on the start finish straight when I NOS'd too soon and ran out and he came flying past to pip me to the line! So Viper's got the American muscle cars, he gets me in the dying metres in a drag race... I can only hope he's bald like Vin Diesel too, the cheeky bugger hehe

Yep, after what felt like a hundred and plenty laps trying to keep you behind me, that's what my race boiled down to. The dialog is pretty much spot on too hehe

Is the Cerbera Speed 12 allowed for next season? IIRC it is a road car. You put Cerbera down on the list but didn't specify which models. Thanks smile

Gaz - Read the rules again on page 31 smile

Alfanatic - I'll give that a miss then! I managed to tame the Cerbera Speed 12 but it's just not fast enough.

Anyone want to give a representative time? Just so I know how far I'm off the pace smile

Mine was a 1:02.5 at Silverstone national but that was with no mods and with whatever PP and tyres the cwr came on so it's not really much o aim for there... it was however quicker than the Countach Anniversary at the same track.

Good to know, 1:23.6 on Apricot hill but I've about 15 more cars to test.

1:33.6 in the Gran Turismo so looks like i'll be near the back again though with tuning it should be a fair bit quicker also heres the changes for next season at the moment:

PP: 550
Tyres: Will still be running with sports softs
3 cars still need to be chosen but only minimum 2 races on each
Can only use 1 model of a car each season so cant bring a mk1/2/3 elise for example
Class system will be changed to match drivers together instead of cars
Penalty system will revert back to the much simpler points system where if a penalty gets applied you lose champ points instead of getting lp points

Tracks: (Provisional)

Brands Hatch GP
Bathurst
Silverstone National
Twin Ring Motegi East Course
Laguna Seca
Spa
Le Mans
Nurburgring Nordscheife (Day/Dry)
Apricot Hill Reverse
Grand Valley Speedway Reverse
Tokyo R246
Daytona Road Course (Night)
