Metal gear solid, the phantom pain
Discussion
It's weird as I've already unlocked combat deployment and been sending them out on missions for ages.
Does this mean I can now set their loadout?
I'm pretty sure I've been able to use them in lieu of Big Boss for ages as well; really weird. The way Miller said it and it brought up the unlock screen made me think I could call in the troops during missions.

Apologies for interrupting the thread with a more general query but as it's pay-day today I've been looking at the best place to pick this up for PC (Amazon etc still charging £45ish, Steam even pricier)- cdkeys.com currently has it for £26.90 as a download, has anyone used them before? I assume they are reputable?!
I've generally only ever brought via Amazon (hard copies) or Steam/G2A (downloads). Ta!

Is it a case of buying the key, and then being able to stick said key into Steam to unlock & download the game through there? No biggie, it's just easier being able to launch the game through Steam (and update etc).
If its a steam key then yeah it will be as straight forward as that Is it a case of buying the key, and then being able to stick said key into Steam to unlock & download the game through there? No biggie, it's just easier being able to launch the game through Steam (and update etc).

Bought my copy from there, £33 on release day and it is just activated through Steam. Easy.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but after coming back to this game after a week of solid Forza 6, it really is utterly f*cking brilliant.
I cannot find fault with it at all. Very rarely do I ever say that about a game.
One thing though, how do I tell how many units I have available for the Combat Deployment stuff? When it first unlocked I had two units, then it went through another tutorial about 8 hours later and now I've only got one unit, albeit much stronger. How do I know how many I've got?

You have lots of units, but can only deploy two at a time until you build a FOB when you can have four deployed. You can then build a second FOB to deploy more but you need ~1000MB coins...
Has anyone worked out how to get MB coins?

yeah, I see a few B's and they are surrounded by D's and E's. Ah well, A good weekend "farming" should see me through to level 12 I hope.
Mrs not withstanding
As you get deeper into the game you'll find more and more higher level soldiers. I've just completed mission 30 and most of the soldiers i've been coming across for the last 10+ missions have been B's, A's and elite skill level soldiers. Keep at it and you soon start ranking up.Mrs not withstanding
Also send your troops out on combat missions to scout out new soldiers

I just unlocked weapon customisation.
It seems I can just ZZZ people from afar with my tranq snipe and strole in unchallenged.
This had removed the fear and tension. Not sure im happy about it tbh...
I've still not bloody got that yet and I'm on chapter 2 mission 30 something argh It seems I can just ZZZ people from afar with my tranq snipe and strole in unchallenged.

In other news I'm having a break from the game entirely after I was walking the dog the other day and whilst walking past a bush I instantly thought "I must extract it!" :|
