Simple puzzle

I started running an automated version and even that can't get under 20100 after hundreds of goes.

Anyone playing the time trial mode on the new app?

It's very hard to get much of a strategy on the go. I've had a couple of attempts. This is my best so far.

That's the time trial game, the tiles spawn every few seconds, so you have to combine tiles quickly to keep it clear, when the board fills up its game over.

I deleted the game after my first 2048 tile, then reinstalled it less than a day later. No will power. I've managed to,get 4096/2048/512/256/128 tiles lined up a couple of times now before its gone tits up. Once I get the 8192 it's getting deleted. Forever.

ETA: couldn't put the bloody thing down. Just did a 19928 to the 2048 tile. So close...

Pretty sure I can get lower though. Might be late into work tomorrow...

ETA #2: 19896! Get in!

Yes, it is. Got bored of it now, though. Dunno why I suddenly just stopped playing it. For a while I was using some automated version just to see if I could get the score lower.
