I'll try fella...i was going through old replays on FM3 and I found our epic battle around the full Positano circuit in Fiats...EPIC ...so EPIC!

I do like the veterans idea...race with the new guys and have two separate classes plus an overall?

Congratulations to Dan for winning this first series, very well deserved mate clap

thanks to everyone for turning up and putting up with my nagging about keeping it clean etc and taking so long to sort the bloody qualifying results each week. Oh, and my frequent lateness posting the results. Its been superb fun!

I'll post tomorrow night regarding the VTEC NO thing on Monday. Planning to throw another couple of cars in to widen the selection.

Personally i'd like to run it as a series before we move on to something else but i'll go with the majority!

Thanks for posting the results Homer and congratulations to Dan. I think that Nick deserves a prize too, as he really persevered with the Focus.

I would like a mini series too. Perhaps just three real life tracks but double headers with the small layout sprint races.

Cheers for all your hard work with the races you have organised for us

how about a 60's champ? B class again, could run anything from mini's to massive yank tanks!

Did mention to Andy about a Trans Am series. That would include most muscle cars and the Alfa GTA, Skyline 71 and couple of others.

Quite like this idea. What class would work best though?

We'll need a couple of weeks to sort the regs cars etc smile

B is too high to be honest. The skyline and GTA will destroy the muscle cars with ease. Plus if we want to run no aero then they will be a bit too much.

Myself and a friend have built most of the muscle cars in C class. I personally run mine with the front aero but no rear. 5.7ltr engine swaps for all of the cars and street boxes get the initial PI down and evens them all out. Cars that shine are the Cuda, 69 + 73 Trans Am, Charger, Camaro. All these run street tires and max widths (widths matter more in FM5 than compounds).

I'll be useless at any of it, but 60's C class sounds good. No idea how much of a pain in the arse it would be to get a level PI for this... 'track day cars' ?
Atom, Caterham, XBow, Radical, Lotus 2-11 (There may be others I can't think of)

A silly idea, maybe a one off rather than a series... 4x4s biggrin . Range Rover, X6, Jeep, G-Class, Raptor. No Hummers because they're ridiculous.

A sensible idea, 80's BTCC. Sierra Cosworth, E30 M3, Trueno, RX-7, Mk2 Golf. Don't know what class they could all fit.

Anyway, this week I am mostly making a BTCC that isn't a Honda or Acura smile .

Lightweight as possible.
All Downforce

Could include some European cars like the Cosworths, the current and previous gen M3's, Hot Audi's and hot Merc's?

The trans am series sounds the most appealing to me. It's something we haven't done before and there's a nice mix of cars.
Mixing the muscle cars with things like minis should make for varied racing and allow people to be creative with tuning depending on the regs. Keep it c class though.

Was chatting to Andy last night and apparently the minis will wipe the floor with everything. How to get round that I've no idea!? Perhaps a performance handicap? 350 instead of 400?

@Curry - We rarely have a full 16 people so sure there is space mate.

Regarding the Trans Am series. To keep it authentic the Mini would not be available anyway. Only the Alfa GTA and Nissan GTR raced alongside the Trans ams. If the TA series was to be worked on then I am more than happy to help with working out the balancing. Can get a few guys together and come up with something.
