Effectively completed this tonight (99.96%); spent the last few days mopping up all the loot chests, outpost tasks and Collectables. Infuriatingly there is one solitary loot chest remaining - locked behind one of those metal doors in an underground bunker
Another annoyance for completionists is that it is not possible to "discover" all locations. Sure, you can visit them, but the little marker that you have to get close to in order to trigger it as "discovered" is off-map (usually underground) and not possible to get close enough to. Yea I noticed that; one in a river where that truck has sunk to the bottom and another in a dwelling by a cave in the North map. I also thought I couldn't get the final journal (the one in his mum's shrine in Pagan's estate) as I missed it during the mission and the buzzer wouldn't get me past the fort gates during my mop up. Luckily I tried using C4 on the gates (thinking it wouldn't work) and blew a hole in the gate so I was able to get back up there

It's good but I prefer the characters and surroundings of far cry 3.
I've just finished replaying this for the second time and had the exact same thought last night! I like the polished touches that FC4 has given us (most notably the Buzzer) but I much preferred the tropical setting of FC3 and Vas was always a present threat, whereas Pagin stays in his Palace until you turn up at the end of the campaign to either kill him or let him go. Same with Paul who we see at the start then the only other interaction you have with him is when you kidnap him.Going to replay 3 soon, probably after I've finished Until Dawn.

Is anyone picking up Primal? I'm eager to play a new Farcry but this switch to such a different setting, the lack of guns, vehicles etc has me quite apprehensive..
I think it depends on whether you liked the Shangri-La missions in FC4 or not. Personally, I didn't, so won't be buying Primal.
