How are barn finds unlocked? Is it roads discovered, level you're at or something else? I've only got as far as the Capri which I found last night (and immediately put a V8 in it!)

Had a good play last night, all I see are the PH drivatar roll of honour hehe.
Last night I was bashed into a tree by Iamchinesealan and ConcreteBuffalo! hehe.
Got the Renault barn find last night and ended up with an X5 M for the first 4*4 races, its a boat!
Took part in my first car meet race, missed a checkpoint and it was over from there. Need to sharpen up my game a bit.

To be honest I noticed a few other people doing it and thought it was worth a shot. Basically it looks like there are a few cars that can beat the Stradale by being in the lower class and getting a head start. Lotus 11 seems to be the fastest but I used the Jag XK120. Just tune it to S2 spec and and the headstart you get over the X999 cars will win you the race.

Thats a top tip. Ive not gotten into that sort of mess yes. Surely the guys at turn10 wont leave it long before an Alfa killer appears in game. Whats the deal with it being that Alfa too. Did they pick a car at random?Does anyone else think it's completely pointless tuning your cars? No matter how fast I make them, the AI in the race all have cars that perform exactly the same as mine. So what on earth is the point? Surely you may aswell leave the car standard so you can control it better, rather than have a 1000bhp beast that is too fast for the roads? It seems ridiculous to me? Unless I'm missing something? Surely the whole point in making your car faster is so you have the edge over the competition?

Tuning is more relevant when your online. In game standard works. Although I tend to make some changes so it drives as I like it too. I like to run with standard or only slightly power enhanced cars as that is the whole point of having the choice in the came for me. I like playing with the different dynamics of each car. If I built each one up and set the handling to win races I would have 50 of the same car with different bodyshells.
So I turned the game on lastnight to get the monthly reward from the hub app and the new car pack on the season pass. When I did it last month I didn't take notice of how much money I had, so didn't realise that the money hadn't gone up later on. So later lastnight, going back to the game after watching Missing, there was no notification on startup that I had any gift money, like in FM5. Searching around the menus, I found the Message Centre with a bunch of messages in it. There was my 2 months of money (3 million!) waiting to be accepted and some gift cars ready to download. So for some reason I now have 4 identical yellow Lambo Huracan gift cars

Im still enjoying playing this even after the horizon finally but one thing that I find annoying is when modifying a car I want to change the wheels to another oem wheel from the same manufacturer but different car. I wanted to put mk1 focus rs wheels on the mk2 escort for example but unable to.

That would be good. I'm pretty sure you can do it in some of the other driving games, not sure if its a Gran Turismo or one of the older NFS games.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
