I've avoided this thread as I've really been enjoying GTAV the last few weeks and didn't want to spend another load when I've not even spent that much time playing Forza since I got the Xbone..

I should have avoided it for longer, it looks ace and I want a go

Sorry...lots of questions.

So is there much point in buying the various version e.g. Deluxe or Ultimate?

And what packs are a must?

And what is the Day Pass stuff about?

I have Forza 5...can i use any of those cars?

Think I'll purchase when I get home tonight so any advice would be appreciated. smile

Bumping this thread as I am looking to get this, only question is what's the difference between the normal version and the digital version? Same for the F&F DLC. Is it a purely a graphical thing, the text with the packages doesn't state.

Pretty sure the difference is the physical media only. With that you can part ex it but with digital you can't.

Still enjoying this a lot. Coming up to completing the finale shortly, a couple of races to go.

Just wondering whether to buy Forza 5 or to buy Storm Island? Should I just hang fire until Forza 6 is released?

Forza 5's crap, buy Storm Island if you're enjoying Horizon 2.

Forza 5 will get the job done in terms of track simulation, but it is literally just Forza 4 with better graphics and a few more cars chucked in. I haven't played it once since picking up FH2. FH2 also seems to have a bigger online playerbase.

No, it's not just literally Forza 4 with better graphics and more cars. For one thing, there are fewer cars than FM4, and for another, FM5 used a new physics model (that actually takes into account what happens when tires heat up): http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/11/30/ars-resid...

I went to Seattle last week to get an exclusive first look at Forza 6 and to talk to Dan and his team: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/06/forza-motors...

I loaded it up earlier, eyes lit up when I seen a 918 on the loading screen, £7.99 but I had to have them:

The GT3 RS 4.0 is a peach, I cant think of another car on that game that handles as well that isnt a hypercar.

I didn't like it for some reason, i prefer the BMW M4 or Ferrari F430 Scud.

After being reminded how much I love the Zonda, I bought one on Forza and tried to tone it down to look like a Zonda F, looks great IMO now smile:

The game still visually impresses every time I boot it up smile

It was advertised as one of the games with gold this month on the US website, but I can only see the Storm Island add on for £8. Grrr.

The cost of the Porsche pack is bullst. Do we really still have to pay for these cars when we have paid through the nose for the game anyway. They timed the pack nicely so it falls outside of the free packs you get from the VIP edition.

Nice to see that Porsche and EAs deal is being worked on so Porsches from the start in Forza 6.

Nope. The game comes out mid-september, the Porsches don't arrive until 2016.

I hope they drop the Porsche 914 when they do, such an ugly, awkward looking thing. I'd much rather see a 356 Speedster or 968 for retro Porsche'ness.
