yes

"Mate"

How the **** did Sean Maguire (ex of Grange Hill as a child actor, then Eastenders, most recently seen as Suranne Jones' love interest in Scott & Bailey) get that gig? What a bizarre choice!

Didn't like the music much - but then I'm a fortysomething fogey who was never into that sort of stuff even in my twenties. I shall mostly be listening to the classical music station biggrin

I played the demo for about an hour last night. It's very slick, graphically pretty but as far as I can tell essentially Forza Horizon 1.5. That's not necessarily a bad thing - I really enjoyed the original and was sufficiently bothered about it to get 100% achievement completion for main game and DLC - but I wouldn't be expecting too much different. But then if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Off-road racing may be an interesting addition. First impressions were that I found it a bit irritating though - I could see absolutely bugger all when driving through the cornfields with my preferred cockpit view. Fair enough - that's realistic, I suppose - but it made it bloody hard to know where to go without having to keep looking over at the map in the bottom left of the screen.

Can't wait to get into forza 5 tomorrow!

Bought the thrustmaster 900 degree wheel too smile bloody pricey though!
Good choice (even if the only one!), really brought the game to life for me.

Demo downloaded, will give it a go with the wheel when I get back from work. I really liked the first one, and it sounds as though this is a good v2 from the comments.

The demo looks great, sounds great but the key for me is the handling. Much improved over FH1 and nearer to FM5 so that works for me.

Not sure the graphics are quite as good as FM5 but there is so much more diversity.

Demo=sale for me!

I thought a game like this would work much better as an arcade rather than sim anyway.

Excited about this TBH.

Its made me decide on finally getting an Xbox one. I played the last few Forzas to death and need something new to race in and secondly do some silly liverys on.

I am getting more and more excited by this. Is buying online competitive? Fancy having it on Hard drive.

I hope they have the 'tag' mode again in multiplayer. It was such fun on horizon 1. The golf course level sent people flying all over the place. Brilliant fun.

It's possible to buy digital copies from marketplaces other than the UK.

For example, I picked up Diablo 3 for £22-ish from the Hong Kong marketplace, rather than £60 in the UK market.

India seems to be the cheapest for FH2, with HK a bit behind - both still much cheaper than the UK.

MS has repeatedly said that you can buy from any marketplace for which you have a valid payment means. I just used a HK postcode I culled from the internet and it allowed me to buy with a UK credit card without issue.

Geo fencing laws may take effect at some point and render the downloads unplayable.

Emphasis on the "may".

You're right - it may. I think it's very unlikely though, for two reasons:

1. As I've said, MS has publicly stated on numerous occasions that as long as you have a means of payment, you can shop in whichever marketplace you want. People did it with the 360 US market for years without problems. It's hard to see what MS could complain about if you had, for instance, bought US Live credit from somewhere like Amazon.

2. It would be an absolute PR nightmare to try to stop people using games that they have paid for. Since it is already on the back foot compared with the PS4, I doubt very much that MS would want to open that particular can of wors.

There are no certainties but the odds seem decent.

I'll still be buying discs mainly. On occasion though, I may be tempted by a cheap digital version.

FH2 is a very, very good game. To be honest, it's the reason why I've bought an XBox One now! However I've just found out that the demo doesn't save your progress. I had reached level 5 with about 70K CR, under the belief that my progress might transfer over to the full game ... However my game crashed when leaving an online free roam, and by quitting the game fully, I've had to start again. Just a heads up to all!

Just driven the Bowler so far, and the bucket list and aeroplane race challenges. I like it so far, I'll have a proper go at the weekend.

So it finally downloaded and installed last night. When it loaded and the first drive in the Lambo, I thought they'd cracked it. Was amazing. brilliant game.

Then I did the first rallycross style event. Very disappointed. was more of a destruction derby than a race!!!

The circuit style race and the bucketlist event were good fun, graphics are good, handling seems good too.

Totally unsure on what to do about getting it now.

Had a play around yesterday, Mitsi evo for me from the 3 choices - really liking it and will be making an order. Just roaming around with friends in MP (with traffic) is great fun.

The weather effects seem good, the map itself a much bigger size, and finally - FULL tuning now included.

The off road didn't seem too bad for me, I think when you get some cash and start modifying cars you'll be able to tune up a rally car for those events.

I had the Rs3, sounds brilliant. As you say the weather is good, in the rain with all the wipers going etc.

The handling, off road race thing may have been my fault. I dived straight into it and turn off all the assists with manual box etc etc.

Don't get me wrong, I found the rally stage a bit of a destruction derby too.

Tuning helped a bit - raising ride height for instance, but I hope when you can actually buy a rally car, put knobbly tyres on it etc then should get better.
