Always seems to be a few people on it. Same game types are a bit sparse though. There's always an uplift when the DLCs are released.

Only Blast, Fighter squadron and the new one are game modes on these maps which is disappointing. Fighter Squadron is awesome though.

Classic star wars battlefront. Looks awesome and great fun but possibly a bit lacking in depth. Great for a quick star wars blastathon though.

Had a quick go. Found it utterly disappointing.

How does one go about getting onto the trench run?

i think you have to be victorious through the whole new game mode and it's at the end. Hopefully I'll get a chance to get some time in on this over the weekend.

I think you just pick rebels and it runs through all three scenarios. Space battle then stop r2d2 battle in the Death Star then the trench run.

I'll have a better crack at it tonight and see how / where it goes.

For mere mortals who only bought the original game (Xbox One) - we have to wait until Oct 4th. Will it just be an update or do I have to pay for these scenes (that I forlornly expected to be in the original)?

You have to buy it as DLC although it looked like the content has been downloaded, you just can't access it (at least on my Playstation).

Whilst I bought this on release, it was only with the Death Star DLC that I started to play (a mere level 8 at the mo).

Is it just me, or is it chuffing hard to get a decent set of kills? Whilst I'm not the sprightly, ninja-reaction yoof I once was, it's rather depressing unloading a zillion plasma blasts into someone only for them to seemingly fire two back and down you?

Similar with the space battles. I can tail a fighter and fire rockets at it and nail with a storm of laser fire - but seemingly takes an age to down them. Yet, they seem to be able to throw an apple core out of the window and my Tie/X-Wing is space dust?

Can't blame my connection (well, I don't think I can) as have 70Mb fibre?

Maybe it's just my load out or lack of decent cards that's to blame?

Most likely - I'm just cack at it smile

I'm level 48 and the same happens to me. Still love it though. I've had consoles since since the MAster System II and I reckon I've put more time into this game than anything else since GT on the PS1. It's the only game I play regularly.

There is definitely a knack to it and especially with the 'ability cards' or whatever they're called... if you have the right combo it can multiply the damage dealt.

I played this a lot when we first got it - pre-ordered... but it waned a little - and I don't think I've played it for 4-5 months now. TBH I've not played any games lately - far too much other stuff to do!

I would like to get in on a trench run tho! smile update downloaded, but will have to get back in to it a little.

There are definitely tactics which work well and you need to sort of be putting yourself in the right areas and with the right uniform as well, so that you can avoid being picked off easily by most people. Of course you can't all congregate in one place! I've found some tactics which work well for certain levels, but that does change as things are nerfed.

I've exclusively been playing the Death Star DLC. Gradually learning the maps and that does of course play a part (not a lot of good in space mind smile ). I tend to play as tactically as possible - outflanking mostly, but even then when I get the drop on someone, they seem to be able to turn and kill me even though I've put half a clip/cooldown into them?

Anyone still on this? Hadn't played it since Battlefield 1 was released and fired it up today to discover the Rogue One DLC had been added. It's cracking!

Nope but now you've said that I may well do.
