I could but I'm so busy at work that I've employed a man!

I've booked it in for an upgraded head gasket and I'm also getting some 135 cams fitted whilst I'm at it Should give me a useful 10% power hike for not a lot of cash.

Hope to be back on the road next weekend.

The dirty deed is done.



Engine given the thumbs up, you could still see the honing marks on the bores.

135 cams now installed which has given the exhaust a lovely dark rumble

My dirty deed is also done in that the M3 is sold

Worked out better to sell it as it is.

Now have a Saab 9-3 2.8 turbo estate. Goes well as it is but will be much better with 300+ bhp and 400+ ftlb

Blimey those Saabs are pretty impressive aren't they, didn't really know about their existence before. Is yours a manual or auto? With 300bhp that will be nuts in a straight line! Hope you have more luck with it

As for the dullness I think that's a state of mind. It's not the last word in driving dynamics but you can still have a laugh driving it like a loon

I know, its bad enough listening to Dice one a week, but a country full of them? Naaaah jib. The roads are worth it though to be fair.
