Cheers mate. The E34 is definitely a project, a bit of rot on the floors and rough round the edges but a lovely car. The E28 is my new daily 1985, a few bubbles in the paint but rust free, M535i manual, short shift linkage, alpina B10 cam & ECU, full stainless exhaust including 6 branch manifold, lowered springs, flowed head with oversized inlet valves. Going to get it on the rolling road once i sort the saggy accelerator pedal.

That sounds a peach. Never had a go in a e28 but I've driven the e34 and e39 and absolutely loved them both. I got to drive a e34 touring too, back to back with a e39 at the ring - stunning. Quite jealous of the e28!

If not a champ season, why not a weekly 'meet' ? Then we can do a few ad-hoc races on the night, or just announce cars/track a week before and have a race.
