What argument would Sky have for suing this video game developer ffs?
Exactly. How the hell can they 'own' the word Sky?

Just when you think the lizard can't sink any lower they come out and surprise you.

I think I'm going to pre-order this on PC at the start of next month, hopefully will stop me buying all sorts of old games in sales smile

This is one of 3 games that has really got my intrigued this year, going to be great if they can pull off what they have said they want to do.

Don't remind me, I've just spent £24 on the origin store getting BF4/Hardline/C&C Ultimate and Cyrsis 3... and Mafia 3 is on steam too... but can't decide if I want to go PS4 for that one.

Really not getting all the hype for this game, people have played it and still can't see what the point of it is. I don't mind sandbox games but there has to be some purpose for me to play, vague wishy-washy stuff just doesn't hold my interest for long. It seems like a game designed for people who don't actually like games.

Yeah, I'm just catching up on that... I wonder if No Man's Sky will get some favour just because they have finished something instead of a web of lies and empty space (zing!)

There is a Star Citizen thread about it all. Suppose it could get bumped?

I have. Games media now picking up on changes to the T&Cs which basically say "we have your money ha ha ha!" Also they ducked out of E3 and now have COD stealing their thunder. 120m in and they have nothing to show.

Ok so latest is an August 10th release date, this looks pretty concrete now.

Ive preordered mine (PS4) from game store

I agree with a few of the comments here regarding the depth of gameplay and what the 'goal' of the game is, but i'm willing to take a punt on it.

Sean Murrey reakons that 99.9% of the galaxy just will not get discovered. which shows how huge it all is.

Things im looking forward to about the game:
-Discovering new planets/creatures
-Giving silly names to planets/creatures
-Space combat
-trading resources

I want to try and remain in one system until I have explored every planet and moon available. Only then do I plan to move on (buying the digital version so will have a hyperdrive from the start).... or... do I jump a couple of systems straight away in a random direction and then start exploring.

Really looking forward to this game more than any other release on the PS4 so far. Love sandbox type games and most of the time I just explore/muck about rather than follow stories (I still haven't completed GTA5) and this game seems to absolutely promote that level of 'free' gameplay.

I love how Sony are treating this as a full 'Studio title' in all the support, PR and advertising despite it actually being made by a small indy company from Guildford. For me that feels that this game really is what they promise it will be
