Just seen this hidden away at IGN, on the face of it seems like a good deal £3.99 a month for a host of older games & try before you buy on their new titles before release.
If EA can sort out a decent emulator and make their previous titles free too - they will deffo get my money, bring on Jungle Strike!

The digital pricing is the big issue I have with this. "We will give you a 10% discount on digital purchases" isn't worth much when digital games (especially from EA) cost £60 and I store they are £45.
The service itself all hinges on when you get access to games for free. Right now it looks great because, for example, if you like Battlefield then the latest and greatest is Battlefield 4 which you get for free. If you only get free access 10 months after launch it isn't going to help the hardcore fans much as they will all want it on day one. You are then back to looking at digital versus physical costs.

I'm trialling the app on xbox one, not signed up for a subscription yet. It seems like a good service - games in a Netflix style, not a lot of content at the mo, but that's to be expected.
Have you been able to download the games? I got the app yesterday but when I clicked on the games it came up with the full price. £54.99 for Battlefield!!ticmon said:

I haven't tried, I own the ones listed so far, and no real interest in NFL! They may be waiting for the final release of the app?Stumps690 said:
I would love to know if I sell my hard copies of FIFA 14, BF4 then download them via this service if save data is transferable between the 2 versions.
Yes, you can, because your save files are stored on your hard drive, not on the disk.As long as you don't delete the content from your hard drive, you'll be fine.
