I watched some of Quickybaby's livestream on Twitch last night. Someone gifted him $70 to buy the WZ111 outright!yikes What the hell is that all about?

Anyway my point isn't anything to do with the insanity/generousity of people but the gameplay of the WZ111.

QB played quite a few games in it. He was embarrassed about getting it so easily, but I digress again.

Anyway in short, it has pretty bouncy armour but a very inconsistent and inaccurate gun and I was generally underwhelmed by what I saw. Im so glad I am not doing that insane grind for it as I reckon the WZ112 would do just about the same thing and be a lot less hassle to get.

He gets a lot of arselickers & fanbois unfortunately. Some of them have access to mummy's credit card. He must be loaded by now, although he's smart enough not to show it.

I've seen one WZ-111 already and they did fine. 3 kills in a tier 9 game.

It's just another IS6/112 clone really. It'll be a decent, but not outstanding tank.

Just noticed they are removing the e-25 bit naughty before the discounts.
As in KV-5 style no longer on sale? That's a surprise, but then I guess it will be rolled out for special treats / promotions.

He did mention in one of his videos that his fans had pretty much allowed him to do his doctorate and continue doing WOT videos, so presumably he doesn't have to work, or earn money outside of gaming, aside from what his girlfriend brings in. Lucky guy, he has turned his talent into a decent money-earner, as it has presumably paid his rent, living costs and what I'm given to understand is a hell of a rig for running WOT.

I just got my first Lion of Sinai medal, it's taken a while! looking through my other medals, I've got 4 Hunter medals, but it's the Patton Valley medal I really want now.

Ah right, thanks. So they say they are removing it as there are too many of them in the game now, basically. So please buy it now before it goes... yep makes sense.

Good luck with that. Maybe they're more common on the Xbox servers.

Out of all the 25K+ tanks I've killed, only twenty three of them have been Pattons (M46, M48 and M60).

Kinda shows how rare they are on the EU server. scratchchin

I feel dirty that I am actually tempted to buy it before the close..rage or just stick plugging away with the ELC... ... ...

from wargaming:-

The vehicle’s withdrawal from sales is going to be carried out in two stages:

on 22 December 2014, the E 25 will be withdrawn from the in-game store.
on 15 January 2015, the vehicle is going to be removed from the Premium Shop as well. rolleyes
All players who had previously purchased it or those who manage to buy it before the withdrawal will, of course, keep it.

e-25 is worth it, great fun little tank really.

Pattons are rare true enough - I've got 56 in 24.7k kills so far, and need 100 for the Patton Valley medal... going to take a while. Got 16 lions of sinai though wink

Oh no, they're rare as they come. No one is bothering with high tier American mediums - it's all about the E50M, Russian mediums and to a lesser extent, the B-C 25 t, as far as mediums go anyway. I've killed 5372 tanks, I'd be surprised if 5 of those are Patton Valley tanks. Once I get my Conqueror Gun Carriage I may get more, as I'll spend more time at higher tiers where I can encounter them.

Interested enough to look it up; 25k kills, 67 Pattons, US West server, so some bias there...but it's still going to be a while for me.

20 Hunters, 9 Lions of Sinai as a comparison.

I don't normally look at those. There's so many different ones these days.

10 Hunters
10 Lions of Sinai

Only 21 Patton kills towards my Valley.

Worse still, 0 Maus kills towards Mouse Trap.frown

With over 17k battles fought, its going to take a while to get those.

The test server is full of E-25s zooming around. I also had a go with the SU-152 again, firing HE from the derp gun. Yeah, it's as useless as I remember it. 270 damage a go against even moderately armoured targets like an E-25 is simply not good enough when you have a 15 second+ reload. Switch to HEAT and it's back up to 700+ damage a shot. You still get complete bullst RNG of course. A 'you didn't penetrate their armour' on a Borsig for example.

New style end plate, with the personal mission completion bit.

I never did get Ace Tanker with the SU-152 on the live server.

War Thunder Ground forces has some American tanks now it its latest patch. These include the M3 Lee!

On their Lee, all 3 guns are usable and both turrets can be turned independently.

Jingles had a play with it:
