confused The 122-44 is not comparable to the E25 in any way, other than it's also a premium tank. Not sure what your point is/was tbh.
The SU doesn't have the camo or mobility of the E-25, but it's not a long way off, they're both tier 7 TDs with similar earning potential. The SU has troll armour, but it plays best in surprise attacks as it can wilt under fire. So rather a lot like the E-25, when you think about it. Move up to scout, spot some targets, flank with hit and runs and then reposition. It's not like we're comparing an E-25 and an AT15A.

Cheers Mr Custard beer, never hurts to have an extra day.

£14 for e-25 is a good price. It's a little hellion once you get it figured out, but as ATJ says you will need some APCR ready for the tier 8 games. Even though it is fast enough to relocate to try and get shots into sides / weaker armour of opponents that only works provided they aren't focussing on you. The prem rounds aren't that expensive though, and you shouldn't need that many.

I find I do better in the SU-122-44 though, but it's probably just more suited to my style of play rather than being better / worse.

Have a good Xmas everyone xmas

Fan-fking-tastic, those Virgin Squad s have blocked up the UK Xbox Live service. Quite how they found the server address, and why Microsoft don't seem able to stop these tts is alarming and fking annoying. It does puzzle me though, that they seem so intent on disrupting Live and PSN, you'd have thought these kind of kids would be right into Halo and COD, right up there with being bronies and fapping to Hentai.

Oh well, the little s, I'll have to play the Master Chief collection instead.

On a lighter note, I free XP-d past the M3 Lee, what a hateful little thing that was, and got an M4. Man, with the top engine and the 105 derp, this thing can be pretty mean. I'm undecided yet whether I'm going to go to the T20 via the Easy 8 or the Jumbo, but at least I know the grind to get there won't be painful.

Boxtank likes to kill & wreck stuff, what can I say?

BTW they reduced the price of ammo for Boxtank in patch 9.5.

Regular AP (which is what I use 99% of the time) was 1,118 and is now 630 credits.
HE was 978 and is now 410 credits.
Premium AP is still 4,000 credits.

The SU-100Y is currently on sale at £7.60 for the next couple of weeks. shoot

I don't think I have the highest number of games played here either. silly

You just have to love RNG sometimes. Just finished a game in the t25AT, where I ended on 12hp having duelled a Panther 2. Whilst on those 12 hp I bounced an IS6 twice and a Borsig with the 150mm once (point blank). Usually this thing is penned by everything - we even won the game with 4 seconds to spare... here's hoping it continues tongue out

On the flip side I can imagine the borsig and IS6 players might be needing new mices - hope they weren't using new ones they got for xmas as mine would surely have gone out the window.

Ha, well played. That waffle was firing HEAT by the sound of it. Serves him right for not using HE.

Looks like they've broken the replay system again. It kept jump cutting to a scene of the central lake area every few seconds.

hah you are right, he was using HEAT. Hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. *runs off to buy a lottery ticket*

Replay seemed ok on mine, but I skipped right to the end.

Ran through the M4 in a day, picked up the Ace Tanker for it along the way. When top tier, with the 105mm derp, it can be comical the way it can smash through the opposition. I killed 3 Wolverines with a single shot each before I'd even had Christmas dinner. I've picked up an Easy 8, we'll see how I get on with this.

I've been pondering over what my favourite tank is, it's very hard to choose it, there are so many tanks I love. It could be the Super Pershing though. Yeah, that could be it.

I wondered why the level of retardation spiked suddenly upward on Christmas Eve.

Then I saw Wargaming had emailed everyone to tell them they had a free st tank. rolleyes

Of course it's a x5 event now, so the real fking morons are out in force.

I'm fine with it. It just means complete walkover teams that last 4 minutes.

I've just had a couple of belter matches in my T34 and then my Super Pershing, making 294,000 silver across the pair, wow I love these tanks. I collected a steel wall in my T34 by getting hull-down on Himmelsdorf hill and nailing shots without a single one getting through me, before clutching the match killing at AT7, an AMX 50 100 and then finally a Super Pershing who was hiding his hull behind a dead tank on the flag. It looked pretty touch and go, especially as all of those tanks would have no trouble in ripping the giant T34 hull to bits, but good timing and positoning, and most importantly a cool head meant I could dispatch them one by one, having faith in the mantlet to protect me as I took them down.

Also, I got the Easy 8 last night, and have it fully upgraded and I'm now well on my way to the T70. What a great tank this Easy 8 is, I can see why the Fury sold so well, as this thing with an XP multiplier and premium silver earning would be a very fun way to save up for those big purchases. Probably one of the best tanks I've played, at least one of the most fun. I got a Lehväslaiho's Medal in it this morning too, a sure sign that a tank is not st.

AS an aside, could anyone who's played WoT and War Thunder's tanky bit give me/us a quick overview of whether it's worth cracking in to WT as well?

Ground Forces is really a work in progress, but it's better in several ways. It doesn't have the problem with artillery constantly ruining the game that WoT does for a start. Plus RNG is much less of a factor than in WoT.

I think if Armoured Warfare is any good a lot of the decent WoT players will jump ship to that. People are just sick of being XVM targeted by some fkwit at the other end of the map with no warning.

Anyone notice in Circon's stream tonight he's had a donation of 5500 euros from a subscriber called manti111. WTF! That's in addition to all the 100, 50, 30, 20, 10, 5, 3 euro donations from other people!

I'm just a couple thousand XP off being ready to move up from the Easy 8 to the T70, and what a tank this thing is. So far, I've 37 matches and got a 68% win rate. Yeah, this is balanced. hehe

The funny thing is, if you one on one with other tanks, it will often lose, but as soon as you start flexing, the downright salacious levels of mobility let it find flanks and cripple the opposition. I've got 57 kills out of 37 games, but already had multiple Confederate medals, as it excels at breaking a stalemate, slinging them up the enemy, causing them to mis-angle and go down in flames. Glorious.

When all is said and done and I've got an M48 Patton, I'll probably buy another E8, as it's such a fun tank to play.
