Good luck with that one since 9.0.
lol yes, fair point, it does seem to be getting a bit barren recently. They need to introduce a new piece of equipment, bush on 16m stick, so you can park up anywhere with a convenient bush.

Genuine lol! That's a fantastic idea! yes

As various people have been saying for the past year, welcome to the new World of (Heavy) Tanks. If you're driving anything else, well good luck.

I've just fitted the 3.7" derp to this and it's a laugh a minute. laugh

But even more amusing was the game I've just had on Province..... in my FCM spin. 7 kills, ace tanker, fire for effect, master gunner, bruiser, high caliber, top gun, 4516 XP (on x2) and 35k coins. hehe Crew is only on 36% too.

Here's half a million credits. Can I haz one please?

Not looking forward to this, as I've been feeling for some time that I'm getting spotted too much (and much more than previously) in my TDs already.

If tank players, especially Heavy tank players, hate TDs so much, why do people playing HTs keep forcing their way into my TD sniping spots either pushing me forward out of cover, constantly tapping me and resetting my reticle, or blocking my retreat. Then moving back and forth and shooting randomly, getting spotted within 2 seconds and bringing a load of death over, which hits me instead of them.

If you want to play a TD (and you should wink ), then buy a bloomin' TD!

skrebs will be skrebs.

I had a go in the T-150 for the first time last night, I had the stock gun, which is st, or I think a 57mm needle gun. The needle gun was used, it took about 12 shots to kill a KV-2, but what a lark. Cripplingly slow though :/

Get the 107mm on the T-150 and you won't look back. I even put combat rations on it to boost everything including its lumbering speed. More often than not, when I lose a game it is because I was too slow to get back to save a cap rush.

The combat rations replaces the fire extinguisher. My T-150 doesn't burn very often and I reckon the risk of the odd fire now and then is more than made up for by the better all round handling that combat rations gives me in every game. I only buy them when they are on sale and I also get quite a few from the various missions that pop up so they aren't that expensive to use.

In other news, I secured the incinerator mission number 9 for the medium tanks last night. First game in the T-34 and I set a Cromwell on fire. In the very next game I set a KV1 on fire on my way to securing mission 10. Typical. All week long I couldn't get anything to burn, and then I get 2 in 2 games.

Mission 10 by the way is so easy when compared to mission 9. Score 6 damaging hits....thats it! The secondary mission is get a kill. That is an almost automatic completion.

Who thought up this nonsense?rolleyes

hehe The order of the missions does seem a little bonkers. Mind you the relief at getting the capping and set on fire mission out of the way was palpable.

Once you get past the Stug IV campaign though you can do the missions on the T28 Prototype in any order (buy you still have to start the mission you want), so you could to HT5 before HT1 for example.

The capping mission is a pain, because people are screaming at you even more than normal "no cap" because they want to bag that last kill or last few damage points to satisfy the missions they are doing.

An AMX40 vs AMX40 duel is a site to behold, it truly is. One game I was in a long time ago ended up with one on each team duking it out. Match ended in a draw, neither could do damage to the other and nor were either of them bright enough to drive to the enemy cap and just sit in it.
It finally happened and the other one was even more noob than me so I won, collected AMX40 Mastery as a bonus :-)

Funny thing mentioning dislike particularly from heavies towards TDs, I was playing my M44 yesterday in between T95 games. Had one game with 5 of us as SPGs on our team (completely owned everyone BTW) and there was a Churchill VII blocking and pushing an SU100 so I thought I'd track the Churchill then the other 4 arties and I simultaneously fired on him and blew him into the stone age. Obviously the SU100 was next but people being a tt regardless of team should pay.

Edited to add... Mastery of the M44 after my 40th battle, woop woop!

Yes, I'm looking forward to the 107mm, and the upgraded engines. The 107mm is a beast gun at tier 6, it can be put to work on the KV-5 well enough, on the T-150 it should rip. The KV-2 can use it, but tbh it doesn't seem like a good platform for it.

With all due respect Rob hehe, average 329 XP over 102 battles in a tier 7 TD suggests to me that "I know how to play it" is perhaps stretching the truth quite a lot!
Thats because I keep loosing.. :/ a '2' and only 800xp, with a TD if your team fails badly you get slaughtered with barely a shot fired - also with a fresh crew (should have transfered my at25 crew) and starting from stock.

No joke I played 20+ matches with that tank that session, no wins, yet every game in the su-100 and at25 (even!) i won.
And again.. .. A tier 7 to 9 game, me in the T25At, tier 7, 3rd top damage, 3 kills, 12 hits 9 pen, 2000+ damage but the team looses. Again. XP? 376. So a touch above my average. So what else could I/should I have done in that game?

Edit damage ratio now up to 61% now the crew are getting skilled and I have the big gun

Just sell it. Like I said, some tanks are just idiot team magnets.

It's a pretty average TD anyway.

I'd say if you're doing well in it, keep it and stick it out. The T95 is worth it.

On a side note, Churchill III troll platoon FTW! Mastodon, RSpetznas and myself stormed across... forgot the name of the map! Winter, 3 bridges going over a central river? Anyway, with our combined rate of fire we were hitting scouts whilst moving at full speed and grinding what we came across. We were the top three damage dealers on our team, not bad considering it doesn't do 3 figures of damage a shot. Unfortunately the enemy arty took a shine to us and I was the only one to survive the battle, but that doesn't change it from being an ace round.

The T150 is good fun, just tore and IS2 apart who thought he could bully me, it seems to always damage opponents.
