WoT for Xbox One is on it's way later this year apparently.

Although the tanks will look better, they'll use the current Xbox 360 server base.

Secured a tier 6 autoloader and tier 5 TD last night- at f**king last! I can actually do some reasonable damage and take a few hits, no more being one shotted while chipping a handful off! :-)

Managed to get to the end of 3 games in a row to boot and scored some serious coin and XP- such a shame the grind up 1-5 is so painful!
The AMX 12T ? I've played it, but haven't got the subsequent tanks yet. Like all light tanks it's kinda fun, but very team dependent, which means you're screwed most of the time. wink Also light tanks aren't great for platooning due to their scout matchmaking, which can put them up against higher tier opposition than mediums, heavies and TDs get.

I've sent you a clan invite anyway - Instructions as per a few posts above. You might want to wait until you have a few more higher tier tanks first though.

Just take your time over all. Don't fall into the usual gaming thing of progressing to the next level ASAP. Most people here still have some low tier tanks for the LOLs. I know I do. I'm currently trying to ace the BT-2 Soviet tier 2. I got five kills with it yesterday then drove off a cliff a little too roughly and killed myself. paperbagbiggrin

Challenger appears to be a tier 7 gun on a tier 6 tank at tier 7.
Just got the Challenger, not to bad a TD, but time will tell
It's...interesting.

I'm hoping the 2nd turret improves it (it ups the rof, which it does need, and the view range, too)

Problem is, that the only benefit it has over the Comet is penetration.
It has less view range, even with the 2nd turret, less hp, lower rate of fire, less armor (especially on the turret), less depression, it's slower, less maneuverable, etc.

Fairly sure it has worse camo values, too.

I had a massive spate of losses last night in it.

Having said that, I was doing decent damage in most games. It just isn't a game winner.

Cheers, thanks for the advice.

I've had some good scouting success with the AMX ELC, its paper thin but has great peek & run potential plus a surprising gun if you get cornered and can fall back to being a TD if the game dictates.

I find the MM quite ironic at times, I'm using XVM and while the tanks can match occasionally the experience match up can be appalling. Monday night I got in an awful matchup where my team had only 20K matches between us, the other side had 10-20K matches EACH!

I do wonder if scouting would work better if the heavies and TD's would direct the scouts and the scouts report abit more, I try but without team speak its hard going. Also alot of players don't seem to understand how bushes and buildings work in relation to the spotting and shoot through potential.

FWIW I reversed a bit enthusiastically when I was spotted the other day and backed over a cliff into the sea and got accused of suicide, it was a total accident though, I'd always rather go down swinging, if someone's cornered me they deserve the kill IMO.

Well, there goes any hope of me getting my life back, ever.

I got an achievement last night for killing two capping tanks on Highway (the same achievement can also be completed on Steppes, but only on those two maps), how often does that happen? There can't be many players out there who've got that. There is an even stupider achievement for killing two tanks by ramming and then surviving the battle on Steppes or Highway, the club for people who've got that is probably even smaller. Some of the achievements in WOT 360 really do boggle the mind.

The commie developers make all brit tanks weak, takes a skilled player to do well in them.

I just need the skill now smile

Sure thing, but it's not possible to send you an invite until you've left your existing clan. The option just isn't there. cool

Thanks for the invite and games yesterday chaps, will have to invest in a headset though, typing chat is a PITA!

Does team speak impact game speed at all?

48hr cooling off period between clans to prevent people playing silly buggers in clan wars, sucks but nowt can be done about it.

The grind is relentless, I've been playing British artillery for weeks and only have another 85,000xp or so to go on the FV3805, then it's Conqueror Gun Carriage time. It has been such a long path, and I'm not done yet but it feels like the end is in sight. If I really put the hours in, I could have it in the garage by the end of the Sunday, but it will more likely be the middle of next week before I have it.

I absolutely cannot wait to start slinging those big 234mm shells around. The FV3805 has already given me a taste of being able to hit people camping behind rocks and some buildings, bring forth the CGC with it's near vertical drop at maximum range! If only it can overcome it's shockingly bad accuracy...

Camping? or just trying to avoid being wrecked without warning by a broken game mechanic.

I know what most players think about it.

Sometimes having game after game of being bottomed tiered with retards you get rewarded, playing arty on Abbey and the other team had a 3 man TOG II platoon. It was glorious carnage, I got two of them and severely injured the third. The best part was that the wreckage trapped a couple of medium that were supporting them, 2 more cheeky kills then a KV-1 in the open to finish the game. What a belter!

With the new patch, the AT15a has a new lease of life. People can't hit your weak spots as easily, but you can pen just about anyone. Big HP pool and tough armour but slow = just choose a route and keep going as an assault tank. Limited matchmaking helps. I wouldn't say it is OP due to the speed, but it is now my go to credit earner.
