What are you trying to achieve that in?

I only got one arty, the mighty S-51 and I reckon if you loaded gold and were patient for some heavies to bunch up in a notorious bottleneck and you're done.

Have you tried the "TD-view" arty mod? I forget what it is called right now, but it makes playing arty actually fun and more up close and personal.

Can platoon up with you this evening and see if I can help out if you like. Do you have TS3 installed?

Using the Lorr 155 51 as its my only higher tier arty.
I recently got the T6 US arty with a view to getting something with bigger splash further down the tree at T8/9. Getting there will take a long time. I have the battle assistant mod or whatever it's called. Its the only mod I run.
I know the the Conq GC is the daddy but the thought of playing through to T10 artillery is anathema.

you could not have picked a worse arty to do that in. Extremely low splash, and premium HE rounds do not provide much benefit. If you already have a KV-2 in your garage, then you maybe lucky like me and get a "free" S-51, simply because you were enjoying the seal-clubbing in the KV-2. If not, get the S-51 anyway, or continue with your american arty, both lead to some decent splash and alpha guns.

In the meantime, stop wasting your time trying to do that mission in a Lorr.

Also if it is just the premium tank you are trying to unlock, you can skip one vehicle type altogether provided you completed the 15th mission of the other 4 with honours.

East Europeans are the same race for starters, and yes it was a joke, hence the smiley face.

You will find the piss take out of the Polish comes from loads of them using bots, so it grew from there.

I prefer playing on the American servers, preferably the west coast server, but east coast will do if I can't get on west for whatever reason. Not playing on the Euro server is bliss, mainly because on the Euro server, I have to mute at least one team mate per game, normally because someone has their Kinect microphone switched on and the sensitivity turned up, in their one room apartment which seems to have about 12 people in it. Screaming babies, domestic violence, sobbing women, I've heard the lot screamed in various eastern european languages. At least when I mute someone on the American servers it's usually some trash talking asshole, even though they can be fun to torment, and they are preferable to the soul-destroying wail of Kinect feedback and distilled human misery that I hear on the Euro server.

Are the games closer, or just as bad as the Euro ones

I find the standard of play to be higher in general on the US servers, more people speaking the same language, more mic usage, better team play. Going off the stats pages, the majority of the top players are on the US servers.

As others have said (and I see you have Battle assistant), the Lorr is a bad choice.

I did that mission in the SU-14-1 or SU-14-2, iirc. Lots of splash.

Just had a couple of games in the AT-15A, got stomped by E-75s and Jagdtigers, which is really not fun. However, I did have a tier 7 game on Mines, south spawn, I ran counter clockwise and had this little beauty of a result:



7 kills, High Calibre, Ace Tanker, Devastator, Sniper, Top Gun and Steel Wall.

Does this count as a carry?



Normally when you have a game where 6 players on your team score 0 damage, you expect to get flattened, but in this instance, the AT-15A was an unstoppable wall of armour, advancing forward and devouring all in it's path. This match shows how good the gun is in tier 7 games too, with 36 shots, 32 hits and 31 penetrations, no premium ammo was fired. 120,000 silver with no operations bonuses isn't bad either! The only bittersweet part to this is that I was beaten to a kill shot on a T49 by a split second that would have secured me another Radley-Walters if I'd got it.

I tell you what, if you want to ensure good matchmaking get a mission started that needs you to do something to higher tiers than you - guaranteed top tier games 75% of the time

We had a 13% win chance, I only got 1 shot off for about 30 hit points, the got 1 shotted

In total we killed 1 tank
