I'm stuck on the SPG mission to damage simultaneously 2 enemy vehicles. Currently using standard HE ammo in the GWPanther.

Anyone have any tips? I do realise that the main tip will be to try to simultaneously hit 2 enemy vehicles hehe but I must admit, it's a tad frustrating, especially when you see two of the little buggers sat next to each other, you aim fully, wait a second to make sure, fire and... miss wildly.

Imagine how I felt when my arty was all french frown
(for the uninitiated, French arty has pretty much no radius - If you dont hit exactly then you dont damage)

Look at the burst radius for the premium ammo - keep a couple of those in the rack and use them when you think you've a chance.

Go Russian. I'm pretty sure all my Bombardier medals have been with Russian arty.

Premium ammo for the enhanced burst radius, but the GW Panther not great for it. The Tiger P at tier 8 with the 21cm Morser is much much more effective. Crazy for a tier 4 reward tank that you need to have high tier Arty, but there you go. WG Logic.

Hadn't played the KV-2 since the tech tree was changed, and as the equipment was reduced this weekend I thought I would mount some, and have a go with it again. Seems pretty good still...

Replay: http://wotreplays.com/site/1800977#winterberg-blav...

Forgot how much fun mercilessly derping stuff is!
Nice game, when the KV2 has a good game it can create havoc.
Not played for over a week as gone off the game tbh, have to try and get back into it.

Fair to say I got involved on this game biggrin normally try not to brawl too much, but I do like that f6 corner gives you nice angles and fields of fire.

Finally - after 7 weeks - had the plaster cast off my wrist!
I can drive again!

But, more importantly, I have my WASD hand back and I can play WoT again!! smile

Anyone tried out the t28 HTC yet?
It's quite OP around corners in cities.

I bounced 10 out of 12 incoming shots from an IS-3 and the M103 last night, didn't have to wiggle or move at all. just sat there and shot back.

Got the top gun for the Tortoise finally. It actually begins to make sense as a T9 tank now hehe

I don't have the HTC because I rage quit the Stug IV missions because I am rubbish at light tanks and artillery frustrates the hell out of me, but that is beside the point.

I have encountered the HTC a couple of times and didn't have any problems penning them from the front. I just shot those funny turret things on the sides of the tank and my shots went in easily enough.

Good point. The guys I faced weren't the most competent. Mind you they were competent enough to get that tank which was more than I could accomplish. irked

a lot of it is down to luck.
My light mission #14 required me to be top by XP on my team, incidentally I accomplished it by passive spotting 5k+ worth of spotting damage.

The next and final mission required me to do 5k spotting damage, and I got Fiery Salient and got it done literally the very next match. I don't even play lights usually.

A guy in my clan is on a whole different level to me, ability-wise and is primarily a light tank player, but he has been stuck on this 5k spotting damage mission for over a month as he never gets the right maps when he is in a light, but as soon as he takes a TD or a heavy, lo and behold he gets Malinovka or Murovanka, it's actually quite hilarious!

P.S. you can skip a whole tank type worth of missions provided you got the other 4 with honors on the final mission. so you can skip arty or the lights, depending on what you are worse at.

They are taking the platoon requirement out in one of the next patches, which may make it a little easier for some (although the mission requirements apart from "be in a platoon" remain the same).

I think I've fixed WOT, I kept getting disconnected in every game since moving house (new accommodation has terrible internet, much worse than the BT Infinity I was used to". Ping was 4 bars out of 5, same as when I was on Infinity at my old house, but I would disconnect in every game, I put it down to the connection being too slow / unstable. However, I defragged on the loading screen and it seems to have solved it. This is a great news, as if I hadn't fixed this, I wouldn't have killed an Object 704 with a single CGC shell through his front armour about 90 seconds into a match just now. hehe

Good, because that's the reason I stopped trying for them.

Some of them are stupid.

Cant remember the details but I had lower requirements to pass a later mission.

Also stuck on ram something to death in a HT. FFS they are all dead slow, and have guns. Why would I ram something when I can shoot it. Anything on low health gets picked off by others.

I seriously think this is the best thing I have ever seen in WOT:

Because of this:

Even my Ace tanker was a heartbreaking defeat:

Bots get a better win rate than that frown. Just every team full of complete morons, shame, as I liked the tank, just it makes it so unbearably unpleasant to play when before even pressing battle you know you are going to have a retarded team. Worst grind ever, I wanted to enjoy the tank, but the WOT gods said "fk you". Nightmare over. Such relief!
