World of Tanks (Vol 2)
Discussion
Everyone gets a few failteam magnets like that, unfortunately.
I don't think I've EVER won the first game of the day with the Centurion 7/1 for example. 44% after 188 games.
T-54 OP? Not in my experience. But then I didn't fire HEAT all the time, like most people do. 45% after 236 games.
Comet? My number 1 failteam magnet with a 40% win rate after 98 games.

Finally - after 7 weeks - had the plaster cast off my wrist!
I can drive again!
But, more importantly, I have my WASD hand back and I can play WoT again!!

A guy in my clan is on a whole different level to me, ability-wise and is primarily a light tank player, but he has been stuck on this 5k spotting damage mission for over a month as he never gets the right maps when he is in a light, but as soon as he takes a TD or a heavy, lo and behold he gets Malinovka or Murovanka, it's actually quite hilarious!
P.S. you can skip a whole tank type worth of missions provided you got the other 4 with honors on the final mission. so you can skip arty or the lights, depending on what you are worse at.
This is exactly the problem I have been experiencing. I nailed ALL of the Medium, Heavy and TD missions with honours relatively easily, but I have been stuck on Light Tank 15 forever. 4k assistance damage shouldn't be that difficult to get, hell I even did get it on one of the earlier LT missions, but for Mission 15...nope.P.S. you can skip a whole tank type worth of missions provided you got the other 4 with honors on the final mission. so you can skip arty or the lights, depending on what you are worse at.
It is either wrong map, or right map but rubbish team, or right map but enemy light tank suicide yolos and lights me up, or something else equally random shoves a spanner in the works. But whatever the reason, the frustration was sucking all the joy out of life.
Now I have decided to stuff the missions and just play the tanks I enjoy things are much more fun again.
A 4th French babe for the French heavy tank line would have been nice but for now I will just have to somehow make do with 3 French lovelys.

9.7 out. Platooning still a requirement for the missions, alas.
If you get a downgrade in your resolution, set 'interface scaling' on the graphics tab to x1, not auto.
Cool, thanks for the heads up. Ive been boating a while, but will try tonks again with the new patch. Like the look of the new map.If you get a downgrade in your resolution, set 'interface scaling' on the graphics tab to x1, not auto.
9.8 has the mission changes, but it might not be that long before it hits. 9.7 was delayed a few weeks, and 9.8 still on the original schedule, so prob in May.
Edit - apparently 9.7 isn't out on the EU server until next week. Apparently WGEU dont want it to distract from the wargaming league finals event . As if it would, i mean everyone is excited about them, right?
Oh, right.

I am actually in talks with a couple of guys in my clan to try one of the ESL ladders for some gold rewards, so I guess it's mostly those who participate themselves that would be interested in watching it, but it's good that they are actively promoting it though.9.8 has the mission changes, but it might not be that long before it hits. 9.7 was delayed a few weeks, and 9.8 still on the original schedule, so prob in May.

ah that's cool, good luck with it .I was probably being a bit harsh on WG really, they are putting on the event and it can't be that cheap to do, so they are certainly well within their rights to promote it as much as they do. I would be doing the same and if a patch causes a distraction for them then totally understand delaying it.
I suspect it's going to remain pretty niche though, even with them drafting in Quickybaby and Jingles to do some of their commentaries with them.

the new hangar that restricts me viewing my tank in 360 degrees is really fking me off though
How much has it been nerfed by? Wasn't it around 286mm pen before? They would have to take a big chunk off that before it became broken - anything over 260mm would still be very viable I would think. It might mean needing a bit more careful aim (which is not exactly that gun's strong point) at times, but still.
Didn't they say they weren't introducing the penetration nerfs in 9.7? Or am I just making that up?
EDIT: Ah I didn't make it up. It was reported in Ritagamers Status Report Q&A on Sunday 19th April.
I am unable to link it from this computer (at work) but it states
"Penetration rebalance (aka hightier gun pen nerf) will not come in 9.8;"
I knew I didn't make it up
