I was actually a bit disappointed by that TOG video, I'd have liked to see a pitched battle across the map, rather than everyone just charging the valley of death, but I suppose QB was going for a certain effect there.
I kind of fancy getting a Hummel again, so I can go through the GwPanther and pickup a GwTiger for a laugh. Nothing can match the CGC / Lef105 combo for fun, but I love a big artillery piece.

Training rooms are being / have been added to the Xbox version, finally. I'm looking forward to getting out on the maps and looking for some new routes and spots that I don't normally use.
My joy at coming back to WOT, hopefully this coming Wednesday, has been tempered by the realisation that I need to put another 130,000xp on my IS-8 to finally get the IS-7 that I've wanted for so long, and in doing so will dip below my 5 million silver safety buffer. I suppose I'll just have to play the IS-7 a lot, and run my premiums to replenish my enormous silver pile.

I have just started down the new French line and I think the Somua is going to be a 100% free XP jobby. Every game I have played (be it platoon or solo) has been as a bottom tier tank. It’s not fast or manoeuvrable enough to be a scout and the top gun is a woefully inadequate 47mm that does 54 damage when it penetrates, great when you are facing down tier 5 opponents with 500+hp.
It seems to get inverse premium match making; I'm not asking to be top tier all the time with this thing but to be top tier once or twice and a good proportion of mid-tier battles would be nice.
The tard play seems to be getting worse though, its getting to the point where I am playing very little these days.

My internet is finally up to modern standards again! Goodbye Post Office broadband and good fking riddance, hello Sky! I did a speed test earlier and was getting 4mb/s and ping at 40ms, which is good enough for me, considering on PO I was at 800kb/s (wtf...) and ping at 180ms!
There isn't a smiley on PH that accurately captures how I feel. I know there will be rage to come, as there always is with WOT, but after nearly a month of not being able to play it due to getting disconnected in nearly every game, it's bloody mint to be back. Even the IS-8 felt like a wrecking ball tonight.
I'm looking forward to finishing the IS-8 grind and finally getting the IS-7 that I've wanted forever, and then I'll be going back to tier 2 to start a Russian medium grind. I don't know which way I'll be going with that, whether I go for the rear turret line, or the traditional line with a choice of two tier 10s at the end. I suspect I may go rear turret for novelty / frustration value.

I've played them in supertest, they are like a wildcard crit roll gameplay type, they can be awesome or just absolutely terrible, but generally more bad than good. I hope the higher tiers are at least worth it, or the tier 10 will be good. It might all change, I could end up on the traditional Russian line, as I hear the T-54 is ace, I could happily grind out 412,000xp in that and get two tier 10s out of it, but that is a long way off yet.Rage is part of WOT, it helps me vent my anger.
