Re-bought the AMX 40 to platoon with my son while he grinds past it, filled with premium rounds it's bloody hilarious to plat not had so many laugh out loud moments playing in ages, top moment was getting a ram kill on a Matilda

Battle tier 11 only has tanks from tier 9 and tier 10 in it (and tier 11 if there were any) - they might have meant that but they were probably just numpties

Yeah the 210mm makes it less worse. It's still painfully slow, with a stupid gun arc, but when that 210mm hits things they know it. I've ground through it, on the GW Tiger now (still about 100k to get to the GWE100) and it's more of the same, although I did hit a Type 61 for all it's 1700hp earlier, which eased the pain slightly (I still feel dirty though, but missions need to get done, want that T-55a)

It's better with the 210mm (had it for a day). Though I got some remarkably rude comments from an Obj.140 who I two shot for ~1700 damage. The CDC who got oneshot for 1400 was at least decent about it. The E-75 who lost half his hp was annoyed, too.

The main issue is its near total lack of mobility. There's some maps where you can't even set up in a semi-favorable location because it was take you so long to get there.

~28k for the top engine. Can't believe it'll make much difference.

The GwTiger is a huge vehicle too. I had a go with one on the test server once and managed to go TD mode and nail an approaching T69.

Other than that, I wasn't impressed and never went beyond the GW Panther.

I had a post game message congratulating me on my 4000th win

did basic maths, I have a 54%wr.

in game though it says I have a 52.18%wr

PS the match maker has trolled me the whole of last week, have not been top tier except for a handful of games in my Tiger 2, all Tier 10 games.

Guess it isn't just me who thinks the MM is being especially fickle at the moment. All weekend it seems there has been nothing but fail MMs. One especially gave them 2 extra tier 10s and 2 extra tier 9s. And ofcourse 2 of our 4 tier 10s were Arty. Not to worry though, we had all those extra tier 8s. It didn't really matter as the map was Swamp and was always going to be a draw anyway

Some of the fail MMs were in my favour, but those are no fun either. I get zero satisfaction out of rofl stomping some poor beggars because MM decided to shaft them.

I did well to win 54% of my games for the weekend but generally I have been in a gradual slump for the past month or so.

Edit: works just as well with the PZIVH with the 105mm also, and possibly the sherman 3 if it has a derp.

Purchased my Panzer III/IV again and it seems tier V is the sweet spot, so many TDs in the match up sadly I kept getting alpha'd before I had a chance to kill more than one lol.

I did it with Matilda @ T4. Key thing is to hold off doing damage and just kill-steal at the end.

I know that feeling, has been the same way here. Doesn't seem to matter how hard you try, losses or draw's just keep coming. I just put it down to new patch blues, bringing people out trying to do the missions again (rather than winning) and things.

I managed to do the HT-15 mission (for the Stug) with the Chinese WZ-111 1-4. I wasn't trying for it, but still. I've already done the TD and medium tanks missions, so now I have a new female crew for the T-71 light tank. That's what I'll use for the light tank missions.

Unfortunately I didn't get the secondary, as my team were too useless to actually win. I was the only one alive at the end as the other team capped out.

I dont know what it is but since 9.8 my Hellcat has trouble penetrating/hitting tanks, its usually accurate 90mm just seems to fly off in random directions when fully aimed, and i had o horrid time with mm, most of the time I was bottom tier with bots at the top, it just seems to be with the Hellcat as the Su 100 had much nicer mm match up

I did manage HT15 mission in the KV4 though on the first attempt

T71 good choice, I put a female crew in mine too - not sure why but it seems they are suited to light tanks (also put some in an amx12t). It's probably sexism. So the next ones are getting put in something big and heavy, else I'll be getting frozen sanitary products in the lawn (again).

LOL. What equipment have you got on your T71? I think I used vert stabs, binocs and camo net the first time I played it, but this time I intend to be much more aggressive.

I'm thinking vert stabs, gun laying drive and vents.

I think I have Vents, Net and Binocs, but I've been using it trying to do the spotting missions so it's set for that. To be aggressive I'd probably go with vents, verti stabiliser and optics. I might be wrong but I think GLD you need to be stationary to use, in which case it's not adding much and with vents and the sisterhood crew your aimtime is probably already low enough to offset the rapid fire bloom growth issue.

And now got the secondary out. 110 again. It's an utterly rng dependent tank; sometimes it'll bounce everything, sometimes nothing.

And got LT-14 (2k in spotting damage) out in the very next game with the T49. No honors but I could care less if it isn't LT-15.

This actually didn't unlock LT-15, as I still had LT-10 (top player on team by XP)left to do because of the reshuffle by removing platooning as a requirement.

Had a think, re-bought the Covenanter, got LT-10 (no honors again - and by 1 XP!)out in the first game in that, sold it again.

So, just LT-15 to get. I'm a crap scout, so it'll take some time, but at least it's started and will eventually come out.

Now back to the medium missions. Bought the Panther II....again, this could take a while to finish them off.
