I've enjoyed that Russian med line. Currently waiting on the T54 being available on discount, so i'm playing in the T-34 to unlock the A-43 even though I have no desire to play the arse-about-tit tanks. Strangely enough, the T-43 has been the tank that i've played "best" in.

My graphics card went pop last week, but I should be up and running again tonight.

I'll have to pick up the Russian medium line again. I had started with the intention of going down the rear turret line, something I still want to half do, but I think common sense may drag me down the conventional T-54 line. That said, if I get back on the STA-1 and work along that line up to an STB-1, I maybe well stick with the rear turret line, as the STB-1 could fill the role of a conventional, useful high tier medium. Whatever the case, I'm stuck on some hateful little thing at tier 4 that I can't even remember the name of, and I lament choosing that particular route to the T-34 and the tier 2, 3 and 4 have been painfully st, when I could have played one of the better options.

Not loving the t-34 tbh. pretty slow for a light medium, the gin is rapid firing and has ok pen for the level but does bugger all damage.

Anything that spots me can kill me before I can kill it. Sniping just seems to piss people off rather than kill anything.

T28 at tier 4 iirc - a really good little medium tank.

Probably means the A-20, which I remember being painful to play. It's just another ineffective light tank with a lousy gun.

I liked both the T-34 and the Chinese Type-34 with the 57 mm needle gun.

Really? It just go to show some people can get more of certain tanks as I found it the worst tank I have driven. Nothing bounces off it, it can't hit for crap with the howitzer and what you do hit seems to shrug it off.

Nah, I've played that, it's in the KV-1 line iirc, not the medium line, isn't it? Either way, I have played it and enjoyed the gun, which was a cracker for a tier 4 medium, and the tank was very fast for it's size, but the size was the issue, it is huge and has terrible armour, so once it had a gun turned on it, it tended to get wrecked pretty quickly as it could not really bounce or hide in cover all that easily.

Over-rated. I have one and it's mediocre at best even with a good crew. Don't believe all the hype. Blind as a bat, turning cycle the size of Kent and you won't pen anything that isn't tier 3.

It's sickening when that happens. You look at your so-called team mates and wonder how they managed to do no damage whatsoever.

It's the same with the warships. After 3 battles last night I was still unable to get a win despite being last one alive in the first two of them. A voice-over actually says "Your team is depending on you!" when you're last man. fk that, I'll stick to bot games from now on.

It was a head in hands moment to be honest. In the heat of battle you tend not to think about it too much, but looking afterwards its just shocking how bad people can be. The centurion on our team even called me a noob camper, after I had driven back from the frontline to defend the base. He did 200 damage. A couple of games later I was trying the TD-15 mission for the T55a (6k damage and 3 kills). Ended battle on 4 kills and 5919 damage, having had a fully aimed JGPZE100 shell into the side of a IS7 get eaten by tracks for no damage ranting. Frustration levels critical....

I lol'd at the voice over you mentioned in WoWs. Thats the last thing you need - your team is derped but they really really need you now. No pressure.. Why not add some tense music too, and some surprise 'shock' images flashing up to really do you in hehe

I really like this tank - this and the M6 are the two I play the most. No-one else seems to like either of these tanks though laugh

I think you're confusing it with the tier 8 American T28.

No one in their right mind would play the Russian T-28 a moment longer than they had too, as it's utter garbage. I used free XP to finish the grind to the KV-1, and that's something I almost never do.

Negative sir! I know what the tier 4 T-28 is thanks and it's a good little tank if you're a decent player who plays to its stengths and weaknesses.

There may have been a certain Tankfest this weekend at Bovington... Went down with the intention of going with a few friends, but they forgot to book tickets for Saturday (which by then had SOLD out) so had to go with 1 friend and the 2 other guys got in on Sunday.

There was a few rather well known youtubers there, you might recognise the faces.

My beard is not worthy of the last one.

I'll post a few more pictures in the morning or evening, pretty zonked after this weekend.
