If you want to guarantee a high proportion of top tier matches, start a mission that requires you to kill / damage higher tier tanks. 75% games instantly you are top tier.
Works for specific tank types too - need to avoid SPG's? No problem, start mission requiring SPG spotting / damage. Been trying to do spot and damage 3 SPG's in lights for 30+ matches at least so far, probably more, and have had 3 enemy spg's in barely a handful of matches

. Yep, that works a treat. Took me god alone knows how many games in the GW Tiger (P) and the M44 just to get two SPG's per side. And god alone knows how many more to kill both. I dread having to get 3.
Oh, and I've got the same for the LT missions and MT missions too - damage and kill 2 arties, respectively. Not seen many SPG's for ages now...

The standard of player never improves does it? 
I was in a game on the swamp map yesterday with the T30 and some asshole on my team was crying like a spoilt little princess as soon as he got killed. He even started giving away my position. I ended up finishing top for damage and nailed the last 2 enemies to win the game. "Wah Wah" was my parting comment.

There does seem to be a lot of people who get very upset when their pixel tanks get blown up. It's strange because they also seem to be the people who get blown up the most often, Idk what to make of it. There's a lot of weirdo's around I guess

Still after today I'm now only 2 missions away from T55a
so they can whine all they want. Need to redo the MT15 to get honors on it then just HT15, although that will take a bloody age - 12k combined damage dealt, blocked and taken and I'm crap at tier 10 heavy tonks. It's either that or the remaining 3 LT missions but LT15 is a pain in the wotsits, so I guess HT here I come.

I know it was a revolution in WWII but in WOT its a slow paper thin MT with a popgun lol. Sit back and snipe fom the sidelines apart from it has lousy view distances.
Also switched to the faster gun (100 mm D10T ) on the KV-3 because the 122 mm D-25T is a derpy slow aiming pos. have to put yourself out there for ages to aim or miss a lot (long reloads) or be right in someone face.
Its working out great as people expect you to be reloading for ages and get quite a surprise when you keep hammering them..

I had a similar complaint levelled at me on the same map whilst driving my Borsig Waffle. I’d moved into the centre and parked behind a rock, as it gives me a great vantage point for knocking out enemy scouts (the 15cm gun will often do 900+ damage on soft targets especially when you get top tier), a couple moved through (KV-1s and a T-44), I walloped the T-44 for over 700 damage and then one shotted the KV-1s 17 seconds later, I finished off the T-44 without being spotted. Very little had gone over the bridge on the left (we started at the bottom) so I covered that (cammo net and bino’s) where I one shotted a bulldog through a gap in the bridge supports and then took a lump out of a Leopard 1 that followed it (it spotted me at this point so I pulled back to avoid getting hit again and to avoid artillery fire).I was in a game on the swamp map yesterday with the T30 and some asshole on my team was crying like a spoilt little princess as soon as he got killed. I took out a KV-150 (tier 6 thing) with two shots, bringing my tally to four. I got whinged at for staying where I was despite this. I hit a couple more but didn’t get any more kills. I finished the game as top tier with over 3500 damage done, more medals than you can shake a stick at and my 15th TD mission completed with honours. Apparently I should have charged forward. It was one of those games that just goes your way in a sea of getting one shotted, track deathed or lemming trains, but then with random battles it’s the way of the world.
Some people just have no understanding of how you play these softer skinned TD’s, the idea is to support the advance not lead it or dig in and defend, even if you are top tier tank. I have taken to typing ‘click’ into chat every time somebody highlights me on the map as some sort of message to move up.
I'm not sure, but they look crude and boxy from the drawings I've seen.
The premium Tiger clone has the L/56 short 88 gun, although it is a tier 6. I remember the same gun was rubbish at tier 6 on the VK3601 heavy tank and the more mobile VK3002D. I used the VK3601's awesome Konische gun (before they nerfed it, then removed it) and 100% premium on the VK3002D to get past them.

I have seen a couple of previews of this Tier 6 Tiger. It strikes me that the combination of Tier 7 Tiger armour combined with that attrocious L56 gun makes this thing overpowered against tier 4 and most tier 5 tanks, mediocre against tier 6 and effectively impotent against tier 7 and tier 8 opponants.
That combination suggests to me that it is completely unbalanced and broken. Something so invincible against bottom tier opponants and utterly useless against top tier opponants can't be a good thing for the game.

I occasionally get clans trying to recruit me. I'm not sure why, as I'm a spectacularly mediocre player.
I particularly liked the one today:
'Jimmyjimjim, I saw you in that last game in your GW Tiger, and liked the way you read the battle, impressive, etc, etc, etc.'
I couldn't help but wonder if he was even playing the same game as me; our team f
ked off and let a scout through in the first couple of minutes, I let one shot off before getting killed and spent the rest of the game taking the piss out of an AMX 30 driver for calling me a clicker then getting killed by the same light....
I didn't bother responding.

Never understand the "clicker" insult. I mean, how else do you play the game, regardless of what tier of tank you are in I particularly liked the one today:

Weirdly, my SU-100Y just blew the tracks off a 10% health SU-152 last night. It was side on too and I was higher up than he. As a result of that he was able to kill our Tiger 1. There was a blatant bot in that game too - A 45% win rate T29 camping base. Only the turret swinging around to shoot at anything in range. Naturally I bounced his side too, and died as a result. We were going to win anyway, so I took the risk.
Otherwise it was like a failteam convention yesterday. So many clueless "players", bots and AFK-ers. I won a game with the T71 only because our M103 got a Radley-Walters medal for 8 kills. That's the second time in a week someone has had to do that for me to fend off an inevitable defeat.

Was up at the Heavy rock corner in E100 with an IS7, holding back 2x IS7, 1X ST-I, a T30, Is8 and a T110E4. So a big chunk of the enemy team bogged down. Ended with 6k damage, 8k damage blocked and dead. Still didn't win. In the whole 7 or 8 minutes we held them back the rest of our team managed the square root of sod all. It was enough for the T55a HT15 (although without honours for the win), but really it's just pathetic how ineffective / passive some people are in high tiers.

Yeah, they're just crap at every tier though. As Jingles says, anyone can fail their way to tier 10 eventually.
A decent player can influence a close game, but no one can take on multiple tanks on their own. Like I said last night I'm sick of being gang raped by 6+ tanks because my own team is full of idiots that don't know how to play.
