They'd never admit to it if they were. It would kill the game overnight.

I dusted off my game and SU-85B. Got a standard game on Lakeville, spawn with lake on the left. Went to the usual 'kemp bush' spot along the cliff road and no sooner had I stopped and got my binos up when a BT-7 rammed me from behind and deliberately shoved me over the edge into the lake. Started laughing in chat then went and did the same to our hetzer. Both of us were by far the highest rated players across both teams and with us both dead and the BT-7 still running riot we of course lost the game. Definitely the school holidays.

I thought the same recently - perhaps it drives people toward buying gold/prem accounts? Annoying though as now I seem to unlock tanks and never be able to afford them - before it was just a case of getting xp and the cash would look after itself.

I have a session stats mod which counts up whatever credits I make. Playing a mix of tanks from tiers 3 to 10 and using premium shells sparingly, I think I made about 20k credits. I did a couple of the light tank missions and made much more money that way.

Yeah, that'll be kids. Or Russians. Until they develop a way to punch people in the face over the internet, that sort of thing will go on.

I've noticed a rise in tw@ish behaviour too over the last week or so - many more people turning blue and generally being irritating / whiny / quitting than normal. I'd hoped it was just a coincidence, but if it's happening to other people too then maybe it is bored people on holiday syndrome already.

What we need now is a week long special, x5 or x2 for each win etc. Then it will be time to walk away for a while . The 5th anniversary is coming up early August...

You guys might be right too about credit income, I've paid a bit more attention to it since it was posted here and it doesn't seem to accumulate quite as quickly. I wonder if there are some 'earn more credits' personal reserves missions in the offing, so they have slowed credit earning across the board to compensate. Kind of like a short term price rise before a sale.

Yay, I got HT-15 over with with the ST-I. We actually won, so I also got the all important secondary this time.

I bounced about 2.5K damage off the turret front, inflicted about 2K and then ran into a platoon of T57 heavies for the final 1,900 damage.


BTW There's a patch coming in the next day or two that's supposed to address the crashing problem a lot of people have been having.

fk this game today, playing my TOG and last tank left against two on ruinberg and not 1 but 2 of my team start giving away my position in chat. Soooo angry.

Not played the game for 3 months now and must admit I follow what you guys are getting up to, also watch the occasional youtube video.
Might get back into it sometime.

Grats on the HT15, those are a pain to get. Fingers crossed the patch helps - I've been lucky this time round but had similar probs with a patch last year and it's frustrating as hell. Not had any issues at all since moving onto a Nvidia card, sure my old radeon was the problem somehow.

Interesting missions this weekend. Do 15k xp in French tanks and get an amx cdc tier 8 prem for 3 days OR 15k in German tanks and get a JT88 for 3 days. Also you get permanently either coated optics or binocs depending on which nation you do.

Nice way to try out new tanks i guess, before buying, although test server when up also does that.

Thanks. I have an ATI 5870 card, so maybe that's it. This has been the worst patch by far for me. They really need to review their testing procedure.

The counter point is when it back fires on them. I had an interesting game in the CII where a Pz2c on our team got all pissy then started 'reporting' me for not helping him (like I'd be able to keep up). I ignored him until he reported my position to the enemy team.

At which point I thanked him for committing a bannable offence, and reported HIM. I was then delighted when half the enemy team reported him too. He went all quiet at that point and didn't respond when I asked him if that backfired on him...

We won, I had the most xp....typical.

TOG is such a great tank, it's an amazing rolling sniper platform on open maps.

I always thought it was a bit odd how WG allowed opposing teams to communicate in chat, you can see how that is never going to have positive outcomes, it's just so open to trolling, or just slinging insults at each others.

Did the 15K French mission to get the AMX CDX for a three day trial this weekend.

I've been tempted to buy one before but thought it would be a good idea to try it before splashing £20 on it.

It isn't quite what I thought. I thought it would be really agile with excellent gun depression and it doesn't really have either of those attributes.

I've had a handful of games with it and they are getting steadily better but I'm still not sure if it suits my playstyle. I think I'd prefer the Jagdtiger 8.8 if I was going to buy a high tier premium TD.

There's a lot of CDCs around at the moment & I'm not that impressed with it. I took a full health one out yesterday with a tier 6 German medium tank. Idiot died trying to ram me. LOL

Those in the know say the FCM 50T is a better tank. I've played that on the test server and quite liked it.

The Jagdtiger 8.8 is apparently a decent money maker, but like the regular Jagtiger it's boring to play. I sold my fully upgraded Jagdtiger for that reason, so I can only imagine what one with a lousy gun & weaker armour is like.

I'll do the German mission, but only because I have more German tanks and will get the binocs. They can keep their tank.

I really want an Object 263. That grind though, it looks absolutely hideous. I wouldn't mind a 261 either, but I doubt it's worth bothering with as it has the same stupidly narrow gun arc that made the GwTiger P so dreadful to play.

The only poor TD on the way to the Object 263 is the tier 9. I just can't bring myself to play mine. The others are fine actually.

The Object 261 is probably the second best tier 10 arty after the CGC as it has quite a quick reload.


I got 4 Top Guns today - Centurion 7/1, STA-1, IS and KV-1S - but only won the last two of those games. I am starting to like the Centurion 7/1, but by god I get some complete turds as team mates with it. Which partially explains my 43% win rate. If only the turret front wasn't worse than the tier 8 Centurion and it had a faster reload.

The Conqueror got a turret armour buff in patch 9.9, so it now actually has some. IIRC it's now got the same turret as the tier 10. It always had a decent gun and is now clearly a far better tank. I should be able to get the win rate over 50% at this rate.
