I was wondering why it was taking me so long to grind the A-43 with the T-34 - i've been at it a month or so - but realised over the weekend that I'd elited the T-34 many moons ago, before the MT-25 and/or A-43 were introduced, and hadn't unclicked the crew training button weeping At least the crew are quite good now.

Dear WoT,

how about removing the ability to start another game, whilst you still have a tank alive in your current match? You know, so that you can't run multiple matches concurrently? Sure, you can quit out of a game if you like but you can't start another match until your tank in the original game is dead?

Can't be that hard....surely?
I thought it had an auto temp ban if you do this multiple times in a given time-frame?

Agreed. Especially as leaving a game in the fashion described results in the immediate destruction of your vehicle.

Fully upgraded the T34-85 is a great tank. The T43 after it is a bit of a disappointment in comparison, then the T44 is good (very agile, though the gun lacks pen) and the T54 is superb.

Not got the top gun yet on the t-34-85 nor the top engine.

The current mid range 85mm is pretty crap though. mostly for the handling, a very long aim time, also coupled with poor gun depression and weak hull armour its not a patch on the easy 8.

Kitting out my m41 bulldog still, autoloader and top turret, need engine/radio next. Been trying for LT15 but I so so suck at it...

British arty is on offer at the moment.

Took advantage and bought the tier 8 FV207.

It isn't bad, but I had some appalling matchmaking in it. Mind you in the winning game I hit a T34 for 1440 damage which was nice.

horrible matches last night

we played mainly T8 in IS-3's

was getting 90% T10 games, getting a few kills and average 1500 damage per game.

still loosing, we would win a flank on our own killing 5 to 6 of theirs, while our 12 vs 9 would loose on the other.

I'm having such fun with the Luchs again. Rebought for like the third or fourth time. Don't know why I ever sold it.
It is such a pain for heavies to have me popping up round a corner and shoving 300 damage up their jacksy before they can turn round. Love it.

My WR for my Jagdpanther TD has fallen off a cliff recently. Has something changed I'm not aware of ?
Used to be a reliable sniper. Nothing has suddenly changed in my gameplay... I don't think.

Also-
I wasn't getting any games with my previous clan because I can't use TeamSpeak.
Any UK based clans looking for new members without requirement for TS ?

In game name is arsehead_2014.

WG is well known for unannounced nerf's to certain tanks.

about 4 patches back the 704 had its reverse speed acceleration nerfed, nothing in the patch notes.

TBH we wouldnt accept anyone who didnt use TS. In cw and sh the ability to coordinate and to follow orders is essential. Even in platoons who wants to be typing rather than talking?

Why cant you use ts? You might find people prepared to let you use it with a disabled mic so that you can listen even if you dont talk.

Had some good games tonight, including this one that I'm pretty pleased with!

My first ever Nicols' Medal, which seems quite a rare one to get.

It was also my 15,000th battle exactly, so quite nice to get such an achievement on that game party

Really loving the Firefly recently and I'm sure it has the potential for some really great games, but I don't see it played very much at all so I must be in a minority there. I think it's dependency on having a team to actually support, rather than being able to carry on it's own after your random team do dopey things, is what makes this a tough tank to do well in and therefore not favoured, making games like the above all the more satisfying. Really not keen on the look of the next tank in this line, though I'm after the tier 8 so shall have to see.

Well done on getting that medal! What tier game was it in? I've got the Firefly (I had a personal protest in that I refused to give Wargaming any more money until they put it in the game) but I'm not really getting on with it, especially if it's in a tier 8 game where the gun is only average and everyone can ignore your armour. Doesn't help that I'm quite an aggressive player and find the idea of sitting at the back supporting others quite boring!

Bought an RU-251 last night, in the first game we got the LT14 mission done and didn't think I could do much more spotting damage (think I got 3600) but I see the LT15 mission is to get 4000, think I might be waiting a long time for that to happen!
If we play today I should elite my Pershing and be able to afford the Patton at the discounted rate, I'm not sure whether to buy it or not as I hear quite a few horror stories about how bad it is...

The T18 has taken more than a nerf, they have taken mine away and replaced it with a complete POS. The new TD has a pea shooter for a gun and tissue paper armour, wet tissue paper at that. Hateful little thing.

I've been buying a few tier 8s with the discounts.

After loving the O-I and O-Ni the O-Ho has come as a bit of a shock.

It can bully pretty well at it's tier, but gets hammered in tier 9 and 10 matches. Will have to take a bit of time to find the best way to play it I think.

On a more positive note the T54 ltwt is great!

Its the same for every tier 8. Tier 9 and 10 are a HUGE step upwards in ability compared to 8.

Tier 8 is basically a survivability upgrade on 7, 9 and 10 really heap on the damage, pen and armour etc.

Average damage tier 6-10 standard tanks no td's

Average dpm..

Average pen

So you are at a big disadvantage every time you expose yourself, they will hit you harder, pen more and you have a smaller hp pool. Trick is to support and do as much as possible to avoid getting shot. Just do what little you can and try deal with the other tier 8's
