God I love the O-I!

I have the O-I, O-Ni and O-Ho and, at it's tier, the O-I is the best of the lot.

I had four tanks left against me and killed them all with the derp cannon (including one shotting the Skoda).

Heart is thumping a bit now!

I bought the O-I because it was cheap, but still have my crew in the OI Exp, its such an amazing OP piece of metal. No real armour but if its top tier you can really bully the game.

Had 2 games on the row with 6 kills each, 60+% WR which is great for me.

Might move the crew up to the OI and put a fresh crew in the Exp as it makes cash easily.

Three new premiums up for test drive on the Xbox One now, the American Tier 7 Scorpion, the Panther 88 and the T28 HTC. They all feel pretty rubbish, I won't be bothering with any of them. We still don't have Boxtank either, it beggars belief that we've got fking PC mission tanks on the way and we still haven't even seen the bloody Boxtank, even though it's been shown in game promo art from the game launch in 2014. What are they saving it for?

I haven't played a competitive game in weeks. If the KV-5 comes back on sale for Black Friday that might get me playing again.

QB is streaming WotXB1 tonight again I think. I can't even be arsed to go on to see if I could get a game against him.

No Boxtank? fffffftttttt....

I was cornered by a Hellcat and a Jap heavy in a game. So I came round the corner, nailed the Hellcat with my gun and ram killed the Jap heavy for a Kamikaze medal - all in one movement. Boxtank is pretty heavy too, something like 80 tons I think.

Tonight was one of those 'utter disaster' nights for me.

Last night was excellent, so I think I must have triggered a Wargaming algorithm or something. 2 wins in 13 matches, numerous tier 10 matches in the KV4, and teams with no clue whatsoever.

Sigh.

The KV-5 is on sale for our Black Friday deal, along with the Panther 88 as a new tank. I bought a KV-5, absolutely loving it, I've wanted it for ages. I'm doing well in it so far, able to hide the weak spots and tank a huge number of shots. The gun is poor, we all know that, but I'm doing well enough, getting my first rage by PM tonight when I sidescraped against an IS-6 who was scraping, he couldn't hit my weakspots, I tore his cheese turret to pieces. I got a "fk yo". I love this thing. Huge, huge money maker too.

Isn't it the same gun as the KV-4? If so, I thought that was pretty good.

It's the 107mm Zis-6m - the top gun from the T-150! A whopping 167mm of pen with AP, 217mm with APCR, .43 accuracy and 2.87 aim time - a right old stinker, yet somehow it works. The problem with the KV-5 is that good players know how to wreck it quickly, but that is true for 95% of tanks in the game, if not more. Against average players, the KV-5 causes panic and rage, usually in that order.

Love seeing a competent KV5 player reverse sidescraping to hide the R2-D2 weakspot.
Love seeing an incompetent player who heard about the reverse sidescraping on a Jingles video getting it very very wrong, quite a bit more.

I am enjoying the fact that games are filled with KV5s and Panther 88s and no one seems to know how to play them, well the Panther 88 is st anyway so easy kills but as pointed out the KV5 can be good if people know how to play them. People don't know how to play them though so it's a nice target!

Good thing you're normally on my team because I'm some boy in the KV-5 wink

Has anyone seen Quickybaby's video on the Czech tree? Tier 1-8 look absolutely dreadful, the tier 9 and 10 look interesting but QB was rather cryptic about whether or not they'll be any good, have any impact on the high tier game or be more competitive than other tanks like the Bat Chat.

Didn't inspire me to play them given I don't have tier 9s yet

Just watched it. The tier 8 is pretty much the same as the premium Skoda then? Jesus wept!

Not sure if I'll be playing that line as it looks so terrible. Thanks WOT!

Watching the video of the tier 10, impressed I am not. Sure the gun has a bit more flex than the Batchat, but the massive size is always going to be an issue, the armour is poor at best and even the turret is crap. It won't be playing the shoot and scoot game anywhere ear as well as the Bat Chat imo. It's made even worse by the fact that the tier 9 and 10 are the only halfway decent tanks in the line by the look of things and yet they still look like they'll be bottom of class in terms of competitiveness, so you have to play through 8 tiers of total rubbish to get two poor high tanks. This whole line looks like a big "fk you" to the eastern European community who wanted these things in the game so badly.

I know it's only a test so far and no doubt there will be some buffs to quell the outcry, but I can't see this thing totally turning around, these tanks will always be Johnny-come-lately stheaps.

They've been scraping the barrel for some time now. I think the Japanese heavies were the last straw for me.
