Not likely, though it does sound like they've done a lot of things right where WOT does them wrong - no game like this will ever be perfect. I wonder if AW will ever be a success, based on so many WOT players probably not leaving due to the "I've done all the grinding on WOT, I'm not doing it again" factor.

Totally agree, tried AW and it plays well etc however having to start all over is such a pain so uninstalled it.
Not played WOT for about 8 months but a couple of days ago had a go again but as expected the frustration is great and not playing for a while makes one a bit slower so not been back for more torture.
I do however follow a few players on Twitch pretty often.

World of warships seems just about OK to play at the moment

I normally ask them something along the lines of have they got any homework they should be finishing? Perhaps with an addition of 'I hope it's maths, I suspect you struggle with that'.

I had one idiot similar to the above claim to be in his forties!

Perfect illustration of what WOT has become : wn8 win rate stat padders that aren't interested in playing the game for fun, just want to brag about how much "wn8" they did in a match and anyone who has a lower wn8 than me is a noob/idiot/bot and should uninstall and go back to minecraft. My group of friends who still play have uninstalled all mods (so no XVM saying how many bad players you have on your team) and turn the chat off. It's still OK to play that way as there's so much less stress, obviously you do miss out on the decent chat that there sometimes is but I find that's one game in lots these days...

With AW you can choose to make your stats public, private or just for people on your friends list to see. The default is private. Saves all that XVM bile and arty targeting if you're any good.

If only they could do that for WOT. They won't, of course, as the relentless grind for better stats is what keeps the core playerbase there.

I did feel a twinge of want watching QB's post-buff 113 review the other day, but it's not enough to get me back into the game yet. I don't miss it anywhere near enough to start playing again.

Na I Haven't played for months and uninstalled the game. AW PvE or Company of Heroes does for me if I need some tanks.

Played a couple of sessions over the holidays after being away for a long time and sort of enjoyed it however not enough to get back into it.
Got targeted by arty in a few games and a couple of dodgy comments made me think this is not for me.
I actually think they will do something with arty as the streamers on Twitch are getting very vocal about it.

Arty is plain broke. I got nuked in a city at full speed dodging in my M41.

Weird thing is its just as unfun to play as it is to get nuked by it.
