Might stick a crew back in my T29
Fair enough, in that case you just have to hope people are stubborn enough to keep bouncing if you can find a good hull down spot.. good luck. Problem I found with that mission was people going for HE or Prem ammo quickly - think I did the last HT-12's in a VK4502b (before the lower plate got nerfed).RobDickinson said:
I think you will be lucky to do it in a t29.
Remember its combined damage, including your lost hp!
It's block x2 hp and do 1500 damage. Remember its combined damage, including your lost hp!
I can't make people fire multiple non pen shots at me. So it's a stupid challenge.
I'm trying to complete all the secondary missions instead. Just gave a couple of MT left to do.
I shouldn't worry, the ranked battles are pretty appalling to play - they have some how managed to find a way for the playerbase to be even worse than in Randoms. I don't think it will remain popular mode for very long, the frustration and toxicity levels are going through the roof.
Agree on the idiotic decision to allow ranked battle equipment rewards into Random's though, but that's just typical WG logic right now. They seemed determined to trash the game.
The HD map reworks look gorgeous though - just hope it's not another HAVOC and they actually make it live.

They have said the game won't be able to support HD and Non HD maps, so quite how they intend to deal with the large customer base that has poor performing PC's time will tell.

I really recommend it. Just make sure you use the derp gun and stock turret.
Never thought of using the derp gun on it, normally use the standard one. I've been using the jumbo less and less with the amount of premium rounds flying about and how few tier 6 games a tier 6 tank gets but may well take it for a spin... FunkyNige said:

Quite a few people on the forums recommend the stock turret and the derp gun as it can reliably damage much higher tiers. It's not a KV2 derp, but it reloads in about 5 or 6 seconds and wreaks havoc on thin skinned TDs and scouts.
More importantly a lot of players just can't seem to pen the Jumbo frontally. In a tier 6 game it's an absolute hoot. Decent gun depression so you can pop over a hill, blat something, then drop back.
I think it's great and I'll be keeping it (not gone to the T20 yet).
I've used the jumbo a fair bit, for some reason I never fitted the deep. I think it comes from my odd obsession with collecting all the Shermans and using the same type of gun on all of them.
When I play next I'll give it a go.
The T20 is great fun and still hold its own, it's much closer to the easy 8 than the jumbo.

Annoyingly, WoT just killed another graphics card. 670 GTX, with many years of service. Went from fine to graphics issue to reboot in about 90 seconds. Oddly, both fans are fine, unlike on the card it replaced. On the plus side, the replacement I've ordered, a 1060 GTX, should provide a healthy performance boost.
