I've always wondered about the ingame chat when QB is playing. I should imagine it's a curious mix of sycophancy and abuse. Does he communicate with the team much, or just do his own thing?
In his latest video ("World of Donkeys 2") he shows a snippet from the chat window, which he describes as being the reason he covers the chat window with his face. His teammate tries to fk him over by pushing him into enemy fire to use QB as a shield, QB doubles back and trollmate dies. Troll then uses chat to call him "Cancerbaby" and says that he is "the reason Africa is dying of Ebola".

I think being a super unicum and having 150,000 Youtube subscribers carries it's own burden. He does say that other players openly chat about targeting him over other priority targets just because of who he is.

He keeps the game chat hidden on the stream. I would imagine like you that it's pretty fruity often, it probably takes quite a thick skin to not just turn it off / respond at times. Especially given the toxic state of some of the people who play and the amount of personal life information he has shared (yes it was his choice to do so) - goes with the territory I guess. You do quite often see on his stream people who have been put on his ignore list, which probably tells a story.

I've seen QB try to communicate with the teams several times when I have watched, though often it is ignored just as much as it would be were you or I to do the same.

I posted up a replay several months ago of what happened when someone ran into Jingles in a match, and whilst the people in that case could perhaps be described as a special kind of loon I would imagine it happens quite often to QB, Circon etc.

There was no chat in this one actually. I may have been the only one to recognise his in game name, but I didn't want to draw attention to him. I know he prefers that. As it is, he gets targeted by suicidal idiots who just want to say they've killed him.

He's a regular 61% win rate unicum and from what I've seen of him, he's always on the move looking for stuff to shoot.

Here is a question for those in the know - can you only take one of each class of a mastery badge in a given vehicle per week? I know that if you get an Ace Tanker for example, you've posted a higher XP score than 99% of the players who've used that vehicle in the last rolling week (calculated up the point your match starts). After you've earned that Ace Tanker, your score becomes one of the high scores against which other players must compete. During this period, are you unable to earn subsequent Ace Tankers?

I ask because yesterday I got my AT in the Panzer IV, and today I've just had another game where I got an even high base XP score than the one that earned me an Ace yesterday, but no second Ace was awarded today. Today I earned a Reaper ribbon on Himmelsdorf for finishing off 3 tier 7s, 2 losing huge amounts of health after I caused engine fires that finished them. Huehuehuehuehue hehe Nothing feels good like coming top of the damage, kills and XP earned when you're bottom tier, particularly in a fragile medium tank.

I don't think there's any limit. it's just down to the scores that week.

I got Ace Tankers in successive games in the British Cruiser II (The Derpencruiser) once.

those kind of e-warriors is the biggest minus point about WoT i feel atm, i dont follow QB but have seen it plenty of times with Circon, Jingles and Jedi.

In regards to being targeted its not only the famous that get focused but also the people in the same clan as them, best example is all of Circon's clans as you get all the fans/haters harrassing you or arty assumes because your in a circ clan your instantly a unicorn player and focus you even though you arent a threat. Best case was had 4 arty trying to kill solely my KV-2 all game in a Tier 8 game although cant complain as still lived and team won because of it biggrin

Just made 100k credits in a game in the Su-122-44, had forgotten how much of a little beasty it is when it's not trying to troll you.

Surely the most OP premium tank at the moment? The E25 wouldn't have gotten close to this in this game.

Good job. It's an interesting TD too. Plays like the higher tier French TDs really, in that you start the game trying to snipe from the back, then you switch up and go into aggressive mode. That's how I play it anyway.

The SU-122-44 is a beast. I didn't know whether to buy it or not, watched the QB videos then thought what the hell - if anything, he undersold it, it's a monster. Great camo, mbility like a medium, armour that can bounce like hell considering the mobility, and outrageous DPM - 3050 which most tier 9s and 10s can't even match. Don't worry about it getting nerfed, thanks to Russian bias, SerB will not have it touched. With clutch braking, circle-of-death tactics don't really work against it either. I've platooned mine before with Z06George and had come some comical results, I had a match on Sand River, tier 8, George in his T25/AT and myself held a flank between the two of us, allowing the lemming train of our team to loop round and pincer the enemy for the win. I took over 3500 damage, no damage received a Steel Wall for damage bounced.

The luck seems to be with this tank at times, as I swear it finds ammo racks, fuel tanks and engines like nothing else.

I seem to be inflicting a few ammo racks recently. Shot a WZ-131 while he was at full speed and his head went flying off. Michael Bay would have been proud.

Also one shot an IS-3 through his front plate with my WZ-11111111111. 1500 damage just like that. angel Kaboom! angel Goodnight Vienna.

I'm getting a lot, too. Except on the receiving end. Usually a precursor to the servers being down for maintenance for a few hours smile

Really enjoying my CruiserII, which I bought specifically for clan battles on the recommendation of TX1, who told me to "Play it like a KV-2". Great advice.

Horrible reload time, and flight time for the howitzer shell, but if you pick the right position and get a decent shot in it's a proper Reaper. With paper armour frown

Given that I spend most of my time in tiers 4-8 it's a blast to drop down to tier 3, albeit the Cruiser often ends up bottom of the list, it doesn't mean instant death now I've got my head around the best way to play it.

Now if only I could master my ELC-AMX I'd be even happier...

I've seen him have a bad game and the chat was full of him abusing the other players. Really did not impress. He went into full on rant mode like the cod kiddies.

Lol yes, another good reason for hiding the chat on his stream I guess. He does get a bit wound up at times on his stream too, but then that happens to everyone playing this game at some point I would imagine.

It's really tricky that one, due to the lack of turret. Just got to try to stay alive until the enemy is spread out abit and damaged, then use it's speed to get in behind, hit them and gtfo again. Great when it works, but hard work when it doesnt. Good luck smile

What does it take to get an Ace tanker on the AT7? Want it before I move up to the AT15 and if this isn't enough....

It's crazy sometimes. How can that not be an Ace Tanker? It's hardly a common tank like the IS-3 or E-75.

I got 9 kills with the Jagdpanther once & that was only a first class too. I actually found an AFK IS tank sat at the enemy spawn, but all I had left by then was high explosive ammo and It wasn't enough to kill him. weeping

I was the only one alive on my useless team by then and I couldn't stop their last two live tanks from capping either.

That would have been my first Pool's Medal as well. confused

Ok, so my Micro Maus package arrived, and the Churchill III is in the garage. My premium list is currently:

Tier 2: T1E6-X, Pz 38H
Tier 3: Pz S35, FCM36Pak40
Tier 5: Matilda BP, Churchill III, T14
Tier 6: Dicker Max, TOGII*
Tier 7: SU-122-44

As my current gameplan is saving silver for the Maus line and the soon to be added French light and heavy line, and I've just spent nearly 2 million equipping my 38H and the Churchill, I better put some work back in. With my TOGII making an easy 50,000 per match with this weekend bonus, and the premium I've got for the next 3 days, I'll be looking at 75,000+ per match. I've heard the Churchill is an even better earner than the TOG, so we'll see how it goes.

Don't forget that the M48 Patton is Top Of The Tree at the moment, so the Pershing, M46 & M48 Pattons are reduced by 30%.

I decided to buy the Pershing back, as I liked it the first time I played it. Never got Ace Tanker with it though, so I'll give that a shot.

The M46 is a very good tank too and it should be more common that it is.

Not for us Xbox players, our current "On Track" event, which I presume is similar to a TOTT event, is for the Leopard 1 line, discounts on all tanks in the line, operations that only apply to tanks from the line etc.

I've just had a few matches in the Churchill III, what a tank. Second match out, Mastery Class II and a shed load of silver. I haven't had a chance to try the Micro Maus yet, but I've just had a game in my S35, tier 5 game, I'm bottom tier and end up second on the xp board, with the second highest damage and the highest number of kills on my team. Nowt like being the underdog and slinging it up 'em, even if we did lose.

Beats me. Had a best base xp of 1725 with it, and still only got 1st class.

The frightening one at the moment is the Walker Bulldog, again 1st class, with 1860 xp base....

It is on the US server too.

Only there they discount the entire line from tier 2 to tier 7 by 50%. Tier 8-10 are 30% off, as here.

PC dudes can download the 9.4 test server now BTW.

There's not a lot of changes. They've fiddled with the Komarin, Malinovka, Airfield and Arctic Region maps and the gun sounds again.
