As I understand it, it will be sold through a promotional bundle, which on the Xbox cost about £27. I believe that as a rare tank, it's not intended that they will sell it as a standalone tank, and once the promo period is over, it's gone for good. The Fury event on the Xbox has operations with 70 day time limits, and the tank was around for a week at least before those ops began, so expect to be able to deliberate over purchasing it for a while.

Also, to any new players, a big part of WOT is rage. Raging so hard you want to put your foot through your TV. Like when you're in your Panzer 38H, smashing everything in sight and the rest of your team flop around like lame ducks. You can only do so much in these situations, and you will rage. Just try to take as many with you as you can.
good advice there as unfortunately in a 15 vs 15 battle like wot not one player can make up for an awful, good example of this is when was on my matilda earlier as top tier tank (tier 4) done 1.8k damage (gun does average 55 damage a shot) and team still flopped badly

See the post above yours, I agree that you can only carry so hard. Sometimes I load into a battle and I know I'm going to have to carry to win, but if the team melt quickly it's hard not to get swarmed and killed. Case in point, I've just had a match on Erlenberg, attacking from the West in my IS, tier 7 game. The rest of my team move off across the map and quickly die, leaving me holding the southern end of the map. The few friendly tanks clustered around me block me and prevent me from defending effectively, as the bobble around like lost children, getting hammered with fire and not knowing how to react (in a tier 7 game, FFS...). We predictably lose the match, and I finished with more than double the damage of anyone on my team, and more than anyone on the enemy team.

In other WOT news, I purchased 6 months premium time this morning. At 20p a day, it seems a good deal, and I should have my IS-3 in no time, and I should only be a few thousand XP away from being able to research the first round of mods. After that I think it will not be a giant grind up the BL-9. BOOM BOOM.

Having just done a Saturday of fairly light (for a weekend) playing of WOT, I've put a 1.2 million silver in the bank today, most of my matches have been in my IS. If I'd played my bank raid tanks like the T-25 (great tank, I agree with everyone who said it was a good un) and the Churchill III I reckon I could have broken 2 million today. A focused day-long session, perhaps 3.5 or even 4 million.

Just played 3 hours on EU1, I think MM is on holiday. 35 games, 1 loss. Playing SU85B, E25 and a bit of tier 2 Cruiser III action. Got 11 kills in my SU on Komarin in a tier 6 match up, did 3800 damage. They just kept on coming one by one laugh.

On channel More4 now is Nazi Megastructures and tonight is German super tanks. It should hopefully give some interesting detail on Tigers and Maus.

Sold my pz-whatever-V/Death Toaster, as I realised I'm getting on well with the St Emil/Syph, and haven't played the Toaster at all since getting the Emil. Which blows the plan to keep some Tier 5 fun in my life wink

At the same time, now having some spare slightly-trained German TD guys around, and everyone on here keeps on about the E25 being like a better AMX ELC - which is my favourite little tank for a quick giggle - I've retired my ELC and bought an E25 wink It's not quite as fast as I was expecting, but boy does it dish out the DPM! Good fun, glad I have now smile

Watched that and quite enjoyed it. Was I the only one thinking "it's an outrage; that is not a T-34, it's a T-34/85"? I've played WoT a bit too much I think...

Now I am a mild mannered person and as a rule I do not rage in WoT no matter how derpy it all gets, following the mantra of "it's only game, why you hef to be mad?"

However,

yesterday,

Average WN8 of 2500

Average kills per game 2

Average dmg 1300

Win rate.....25%

The rage was real mad

All that jazz

Equip rammer, camo net and bins then go sit behind a good bush so you can't see through it when zoomed in. It's nearly like having an auto-loader with pinpoint accuracy and they have no idea where you are. Gold TDs don't lose their camo value when shooting in that kind of situation (unlike non-gold TDs). Learn which tier 8 tanks you have no chance of penning even with gold and learn which tanks you can get under the gun of face to face so they can't shoot you and you'll have a lot of fun and a lot of great wins. It's like the ELC in many ways in that it's a tough tank to play with a unique play style unlike other tanks, but once you master it you'll love it. Getting 6th sense on it makes a boat load of difference to your success rate too (as you'll know if you have it already on your ELC). ELC is just too fragile and even with the rammer that 90mm gun has a painfully long reload if you mess up your shot!

I have finally decided not to play any tanks over T8, due to so many poor players bringing my stats down is unreal.

Seal clubbing is the way forward

It's funny you say that - I came to the same conclusion last week. I just can't enjoy playing tier 8,9 and 10 anymore, too many games just end up being decided by who has the least worse top tiers. It came to a head on Wednesday for me, having 3 tier 9 games in a row where the only tier 10s in my team were mostly just platooned incompetents, none of them getting above 6-700 damage and usually just hiding in a corner somewhere. Sometimes you can compensate for 1, but not 3 or more unless the enemy team is equally gimped.

Of course it can work in your favour too, but then stomping the enemy is often not so fun either.

At tier 6/7 its so much easier to compensate it seems. I have more fun in those tiers too, tanks like the Cromwell, T150, JagdPanther and Tiger etc. are just much more fun to play, even the Chi-Ri has novelty 'crap on a stick' value. So I'm sticking around those tiers for now too.

I know what you mean. It grinds you down after a while. My premium account expired yesterday, so I'm just going to take a break and play some of my neglected lower tier tanks now & then.

There's bad players at every level, but at low tier it is forgivable. I saw an IS-7 with a 42% win rate yesterday. Even bots and gold spammers usually have win rates higher than that.

The only skill based matchmaking they need is to keep 46% and below players apart from the rest of the player base. At least players at 47% & above have shown they know the difference between their arse and their elbow. Either that or balance the number of useless retards evenly.

Oh and stop fail platoons from being possible.

My E100 was at 42% win rate, most losses not due to me but being always lumbered with a crap team.

All my sub T9s my win rate is 54% or better 58% with my tilly, so I cant be that bad

That was a 42% overall win rate. Not just the IS-7.

Top tier players with stty overall win rates make baby Jesus cry.

42% overall, with any decent number of games played, I just don't get. Fair enough when learning, or on individual tanks where it can be loopy (usually with relatively low games played (<1000) in that tank), where statistically it's not especially significant. But accounts with 5k+ games overall and 42% win rates - how is that really possible?

You would have to be almost actively trying to lose. Just going afk in games would get you higher than that, assuming the 14 other players didn't do the same. 42% is roughly equivalent to 56% in terms of difference to the average, and 56% isn't easy to do over a large number of games - law of averages surely would make 42% almost as hard.

Perhaps platooning with equally capable IS7's would do it, the weight of 3 in a team would really pull the win rate down though.

I suppose if your'e dead in the first 3 minutes of every game you can play a lot more tanks. I think a lot of the 'suicide scouts' are basically doing what idiots & bots do - relying on the rest of the team to win for them.

Driving across an open field is something that you learn not to do at tier 1. If you still haven't got that by tier 10, then there really is no hope.

I've seen a lot of this recently (there's been a spate of x3 events in the US); ~42% win rate, tier 10. Usually in whatever tier 10 there's an 'on track to' event.

Usually on my team, too....bds.

In other news, elited the awful panther for the second time, yay!
It truly is diabolical. It has perhaps a very small niche role, as something between a medium and a light, as a stealthy flanker that finds a place to hole up and pick bits off tanks.

As a scout, it's pathetic.
Compared to other T7 lights, it's a joke.

53% win rate, same as the Chi-Ri, but it's an absolute stoater.

Do not enjoy playing anything over 6 tier, I find it is so hard to make any impact if your tank happens to be 2 tiers down in high tier games.
Saying that my Matilda is having a right beating these last few weeks when it come to mm, happens so often I kill 6-7 and we still lose.
For me at the moment its the pz38t, cruiser 2 , matilda, kv1 and kv2.
