Clan wars is not yet implemented on the 360, but it is coming. They're focusing on getting the maps and tanks out at the moment. Not that many tanks left to go, just the IS-4 line, French arty and Porsche lines left, then we'd be up to date with the PC right before the point where the KV-85 and the new American lights were added.

I've just bought a KV-2 this evening for part of an achievement for owning a KV-1, KV-1S and KV-2 at the same time. I still have my old KV-1 though I never seem to play these days, and the S was sold right after the achievement popped. I'll keep the KV-2 on, I hear it's a laugh but mainly my interactions with KV-2s seems to be mercilessly ripping them to shreds. Whether or not it's a tank that works for me remains to be seen. I'm not sure when I'll get round to it as I decided to unlock the Matilda the other night, I've been having quite a good time playing that.

The 360 version seems to be coming along nicely. I've just elited the KV-4, so I can get the ST-I now. Then it's the IS-4.

Facing a KV-2 isn't too bad if it's on its own, but they're bds in even a two man platoon. Same as the T34 really.

KV1 pretty well armoured tank at tier 5 with the average guns at that tier. KV2 armour fairly easily penetrated with average tier 6 guns but that derp gun will troll you hard. Great when it hits and pens for 800+ damage, but the other 80% of your shots that go everywhere but where you're aiming will soon have you raging.

I've done pretty well in the KV-1, I played it for a while as I found it to be a good learner tank, in the end I had enough to unlock a KV-1S, which I did a while back, and I recently spent some of the free XP left over on the KV-1 to get the KV-2. I've got 100,000 left on it, so comfortably enough to unlock the T-150 when that comes along.

Having just had a couple of games in it, I'm not sure it's for me, but it may be too early to say yet. I did have fun on Abbey, picking up 3 one shot kills in my first match with the 122mm, but in my second I had a great shot on an SU-152 frontal weak spot, didn't think it would be possible to miss and then the shot slewed wide, hit the track and did 70 damage when I was expecting 450. The KV-2 has a cult status on the Xbox forum, I think I need to spend some time with it. I'm still re-training the crew to 100%, which I feel makes a big difference. I never write a tank off until I've played a good few games with a 100% crew and at the very least, the key upgrades, if not a fully upgraded tank.

You can have a 1000% trained crew (10 rounds of training) and that gun will still troll you. My experiences with it mirror a lot of others' on youtube replays etc - it seems to hit more often if you fire snapshot on the move without even aiming. Seriously! There's no middle ground with the KV2 : you will either have a fantastic game with 6+ kills and a ton of damage courtesy of the Hand of Stalin guiding all your missiles to their target or Stalin will be away on holiday and it won't matter how accurately you aim, even if the enemy is 2ft in front of you, the shot will miss/bounce/vanish and you'll be dead before the game is 30 seconds in.

It's like artillery in that the RNG will troll you. The T30's gun is the same.

Yey! First ever win at the 8th attempt with the tier 1 Japanese tank

My god this thing likes to troll me too.banghead

I only just bought it back yesterday and despite my team's best efforts, I was not going to lose this game as well.

This is going to sound like a very nooby question.
When im looking at the major qualifications of my crew the commander is always 100% (once fully trained) and my other crew are 110%. When people talk about a 180% crew what do they mean? I put brothers in arms on my commander for my tiger 2 and the percentages remain the same.

Cheers for any input.

I've still only got the 122mm at the moment, one more win and I'll have enough for the 152mm. The 122 is like a peashooter in comparison, but the higher ROF is more forgiving. Still, it is not what this tank is about! I've not had much chance to play it, nor my new Matilda, as today is double xp on all battles so I'm hammering my Tiger II, 45,000xp left to go which I won't clear tonight, but I'd like to get down to 30,000xp left on the countdown if I can.

Speaking of the Tiger II, I still only have a Mastery Class 1 in it, but I feel like recently I've really gotten to grips with it and I can tell that my time at the lower tiers and playing mediums has helped me and made me a better player, relying less on armour and firepower, and more on positioning and timing. I've had some amazing games in my Tiger today where it's felt like an impenetrable beast with a laser accurate gun that pens the majority of it's shots. The last time I played the Tiger II I felt it was soft armoured (relatively speaking, it is) with a poor top gun. Now that I've improved as a player, I'm really making this thing work.

Have you elited the tank? If not, there's your answer.

There's training for a particular vehicle and then there's additional crew skills/perks like sixth sense, repairs etc.

The crew get a leadership bonus from the commander, so if they're all 100% trained for that tank, the crew will operate at 110% efficiency. If he gets knocked out, they'll lose that bonus, so always use a med kit on your commander if that happens.

I would take "a 180% crew" to mean they have the first set of crew skills/perks and they're 80% on their way to the second set.

Also, for Brothers In Arms to work, ALL the crew have to have it.

I believe that's an urban myth. If you read the BIA perk description in the game, it says that assigning it to one crew member affects all the other crew members.

Nope, all crew have to have it, you'll see their core stat change from 110% to 115% when it's active (116/121 with vents equipped).
They get 10% of the commanders skill (10%) and 5% BiA, swap out a crew member and see.

Here's my KV-1S crew, with full Brothers in Arms:

And my T29 Crew. Only the radio man has BIA (as he was on other tanks).

You can see that BIA is actually greyed out until all the crew have it, as it has no effect.

Both of these tanks have vents, which increases the base crew skill by 5%

Beati that seems fairly conclusive to me, I'm happy to go along with that and stand corrected. It's a topic of argument on the WOT forums on a regular basis and most of the so-called know-it-alls reckon it works with only one set up for it as it supposedly affects the other crew members. Apparently not then!

The KV-2 is gone, hateful heap of ste that it was. There is no place for that junker in my garage. It's fate was sealed when I had a game on Redshire where I didn't even seen a enemy to get a shot in, and my team won. I got one hit of spotting damage and that was it. Pitiful. This is probably the most situational tank in the game. Top tier, on an urban map, it could absolutely dominate. Anywhere else, I don't think it's up to much. I should have predicted this before buying it (though I did only purchase it for the sake of the achievement), as I never feel much other than "ooh, free XP" whenever I see a KV-2 down my sights.

Not long to go now until I unlock the E-75, should have it done by the end of the week. I'll probably sell the Tiger II, as it will have no real value, the E-75 is (for it's tier) stronger armoured and better gunned, and it has the benefit of only ever being top or middle tier, no bottom tier misery for tier 9s. I have quite enjoyed this big sniper, I might get a Löwe to fill the gap.

I had the exact same feelings about the KV2 the first time I bought it. Too slow, too big, reloads way too slow, aims way too slow and even when you do get to fire it is literally hit or miss.

However I rebought it some time ago for platooning purposes and it has taken on a whole new lease of life. Platooned with a second KV2 they can become quite lethal at any tier. However I would never dream of taking it out solo. Like the TOG2 it is a purely novelty tank in my garage.

I love both TOG and KV2.
Has anyone else downloaded Blitz? It's actually pretty good, different but fun.
Seems to run OK on my Samsung S4, just a shame the accounts aren't linked!
