How does one get a hold of this Hawkmoon? Is it another RNG? In which case I'll never get it as I have zero luck with that.

I'd agree re PvP. It's a bit limited in scale compared to some other recent titles but it can still be pretty hectic and fun once you learn your way around\choke points etc and I always enjoy playing against real people. Looking forward to trying some iron banner and probably getting pwned by level 30's.

Will the Iron banner armour rewards allow you to get to level 30?

The Iron banner armor does level up to 30, but only boots and gloves are available, so you'll need at least 1 Raid chest/helmet and 1 exotic chest/helmet to get there.

Plus you need level 4 Iron Banner to buy the gloves - that's a lot of crucible and bounties in the next week. Off the top of my head you need 5300 pts to get to level4!

To be fair I got one too but that's about the ONLY useful drop I've had in countless hours of playing so I still say the RNG is rubbish.

What I REALLY love though is going 23-2 in PvP with 5000 points and getting diddly squat while the person in last place gets an exotic drop. That really encourages me to do well!

Played some iron banner yesterday and managed to get to level 1 within a couple of hours. I loaded up on bounties, completed 1 and equiped the iron banner paraphernalia when leveled up.

Had a couple of games with Youngs in which I played terribly, and didn't really adopt a teamwork approach (sorry!). 1st time playing any PvP game with friends, so I'll have to alter my gameplay style and adopt a more tactical approach.

If we can get a team of 4-6 players, working in teams of 2-3 I reckon we could do pretty well. I'm going to try and get on it at the weekend. I know youngs is up for it. GUVERNATOR!! You're on my crucible top scorer list on the PS homescreen.

I'll join that team. I should be an asset - in the last 3 iron banner events, I came in as the top scorer in 2, despite just being a 27 Titan. Invective and a good steady machine gun are the reasons how that happened.

I used to use a shotgun(got the invective, but have yet to use it), but have swapped to a fusion rifle, which seems a bit less deadly since the last update. Suros regime/The calming/The swarm for me.

I'm in, if I am on. Started the Iorn banner last night. I do enjoy the crucible but I am not the best at it. Oh and The Last Word is epic.

nightfall> weekly> daily went a lot more smoothly this week.

I then still had time to do the level 22 daily with my level 20 warlock. Its just the grind to rank 2 that takes forever

I found the daily a bit tough last night tbh. The juggler was not kind to me so I struggled for ammo at the end against the three bosses.

Im up for doing the weekly tonight and a bit of banner with a group

Arggghhh, just bought this and now having to do a 2.44gb update. Why can't you play offline while this loads? When I select start app without updating it says attention a new update is available blah blah blah with a dismiss button that don't dissappear. What a load of crap!!!!

You can't play Destiny at all offline.
