Ha-ha! It was only last week that you were saying how much you hated crucible. Needs musts and all that.I think approx 12 hours of bannering should get you a pair of boots. You can spend days in the raid and not get what you want.
I didn't realise that you have to pay for banner gear, I thought you got to choose rewards or use crucible marks. You actually earn the right to buy, and it's expensive, so make sure you've got plenty of glimmer.

Yeah I know, I do hate it! lol. Don't know the maps or anything, usually shoot at anything that moves, team mates included!! I have to admit to playing a lot of Crucible lately as I am getting kind of bored of replaying the same old PvE missions again and again. I also keep missing out on the PH VoG runs so PvP is keeping me amused until the DLC. The Iron Banner is a lot tougher though. I usually do pretty well on Crucible but Iron Banner has shown me that there are some VERY good or very dedicated players out there. When you have a player who teleport jumps, immediately slides under your wildly flailing player, then kills you at close range from behind before you've even realised what's happening, you know you need to try harder
